RAINY DAY COMING UP. I'M OFF TO TULSA GUNSHOW. HOPE THE OPTIMISM LEVEL AMONG VENDORS COMES DOWN SOME AND I CAN FIND A TRUCK GUN FOR A SEMI REASONABLE PRICE. OR MAYBE ONE WILL COME IN THE DOOR. LOADING OUT IN THE RAIN THIS AFTERNOON WON' BE MUCH FUN IN THE RAIN.

Morning guys...in case some of you missed it, after years of snooping off my wife's facebook, set one up for myself last night and one for my cabinet business. Please go by there and "like" my page if you would, please. I got a few pictures uploaded last night, but I have more to do.

https://www.facebook.com/pages/Coyote- ... Cabinets/1469862489910369

Got a Knights of Columbus initiation today. I'm on the second degree team, so we will be going down to that today. It will take up most of the day.

Sounds like a good time Bill. Gris, hope you find that gun. Is it a hand gun or a rifle you're looking for? I guess the days of having a rifle or shotgun hanging in the back window of the truck is gone, huh?

We have been getting moisture all night long here. Not anything heavy, just a steady drizzle. should soak in pretty good.

Rich, are you home yet? Work harder than they want you to. A little pain now will result in a quicker recovery....at least I think it did for me. I'm almost two years out on mine now. I can do things I haven't done in many years before the replacement. But I'll say it now, my "new" knee doesn't feel like the other one. Not painful or anything like that, just feels different. Mine gets tired after standing in the shop all day. I never notice it, until I come in and sit down.

Last night we went to a video horse race fund raiser for the Relay for Life. I wound up hitting the 50-50 for $454. Nice little addition to the Corvette fund !

Getting ready to head over to PA for a dirt Late Model race today. It looks like a beautiful day for some racing.

Get well mojo Rich...
congrats on the money win, Ken... I could use some of that, myself... I'd like to get away from here for a few days. Trying to rest and DNBFS this weekend - have planted four flowers and have one tomato plant for today, need to pick up around the house some. Mite venture out and get the nails done later - switching out a drill bit got me the corner of one ripped off Friday. or... I might just take a nap....

Good Morning CGs!

So it finally happened...put the tires on the car last night and took it for a cruise! It is sitting outside now waiting for me to drive it some more. Can't wait. Running well, slight idle problem is still there so I have to work on that.

Went out to a bar last night for BIL's bday. About 25 people showed up so it was a nice turnout. Lots of drinking except me, I was the DD. I don't mind that role at all. Zero hangover today.

Rich - good luck with the knee!

Ken - nice score!

Hope everyone has a great day!

Matthew

Morning,

Almost 50º here this morning. Looks to be a nice week ahead, 50s and 60s. Might even reach 70º. We still have a bunch of snow from the 9+ inches we got early in the week, but it is going fast. Might just get the 94 out and cruise. Maybe even have to look into getting out the Firebirds and the Z28. They look kind of lonely sitting in the storage building since late November. I kept the BlueToy in the garage at home all winter. Even if I couldn't drive it, I could look at it once in awhile and pet it. Oh wait a minute, that was the dog I was petting. Teebee, congrats on the Face Book page. Your work looks top notch.

Greetings! I've decided that today is Bring Home Your Vette Day. Some of the roads are still a little sloppy, but so what. They've upped the forecast to 70 for Wednesday - bring it on.

Knee mojo, Rich - hope it's in tip-top shape soon!

Have a good day, yawlz!

The garage is as clean as it's gonna get - I swept and mopped the floor, and went over it with a steam cleaner. It may not be hospital clean, but it's good enough for the 5-second rule. Gonna go wake up the Vette from its hibernation shortly.

I decided I'll join Facebook right after Bill does :-P

Gorgeous spring day here - the birds are singing (saw a couple robins out in the back yard), people out jogging and walking their dogs, and a few Vettes out on the roads. If it wasn't for the remaining piles of snow, Tommy might even say "Gee, I guess it isn't so bad here!" I think we have turned the corner.

Meanwhile, my son followed me home when we went to get the Vette out of storage. He said he laughed when the steel wool I'd packed in the exhaust came flying out when I romped on it. First time I've forgotten to take that out - oops :-P

Well, my DNBFS day got shot to hell.. I got outside and moved around a hosta or two, then planted the tomato, then got the leaf blower out, which led to getting the rake out, which led to multiple burn piles, two blisters.. three beers later that led to noticing vines and crap poking through the back fence which led to getting the snips and lopers (sp?) out, cut vines as well as old lady's stuff hangin over my fence, which led to me mowing down the monkey grass under my feet I kept tripping in - then raking again as it was full of pine needles.. geez... then neighbor's mower wouldn't start so I tried to open the fence and push mine over there for him. Fence jammed, so we fixed the fence. I moved a little pile of dirt and found worms, which led to me and other neighbor Doris digging up a lot more of them to start us a mini worm bed at her house.. then finally I cooked dinner, alligator, fried green tomatoes and taters and did the dishes, one load of laundry in and now I'm clean, too.
Geez.. what happened to sitting on my ass today?
Have fun driving Matt, and yes Tom those turned thingies are nice with the different colored woods and all, three of them would look nice hanging from the chains on my grandfather clock....

YEAH, THAT'S AN INVITATION TO BREAK IN AND STEAL; ALWAYS HAS BEEN. BACK IN THE DAY OF ONE SEAT TRUCKS I ALWAYS PUT MY GUN RACK ON THE BACK OF THE SEAT OUT OF SIGHT. IT WAS ACTUALLY MORE CONVENIENT TO GET TO THAN IN THE WINDOW, AND TOTALLY OUT OF SIGHT UNTIL YOU PULLED THE SEAT BACK FORWARD.

IT'S A PISTOL I NEED. EACH OF MY VEHICLES HAS AN INDWELLING HANDGUN. THE CURRENT ONE IN THE TRUCK IS ONLY MARGINALLY SATISFACTORY, A 9MM. I WANT EITHER AN OFFICER SIZE 1911 OR A SIG 239 IN .40 OR .357 SIG. I MAY BE FORCED TO BUY A NEW ONE IF MY PATIENCE RUNS OUT.

OTHERWISE IT WAS A GOOD SHOW, GOOD CROWD, ALL OUR LITTLE GROUP DID LOTS OF BUYING AND SELLING. WE EVEN AVOIDED MOST OF THE RAIN LOADING OUT AFTERWARDS.
