Good morning gang.

A little chilly here to start the day out. Temps in the low 30's. Should be mostly sunny and getting into the 50's.

Word of the Day Wednesday, April 23, 2014

scherzo\ SKERT-soh \, noun;

1. Music . a movement or passage of light or playful character, especially as the second or third movement of a sonata or a symphony.

Origin:

Scherzo is ultimately from Langobardic, a language from Lombardy. It came to English through the Italian word scherzare for "joke."

Good Morning CGs!

Car was acting up in the driveway last night again. Drove home great, pulled in the drive and the idle was wacky. I am going to do two more things to try to fix it. First is a new cap and rotor. I noticed during a WOT burst yesterday I had a miss between 5400-5800 rpm. The cap/rotor are about the only things I haven't replaced on that car because they were new when I bought it. But they are now 7 years old with 20,000 miles on them. I don't know what brand / quality they were to begin with so I'll order a new set. Second is a new tune. I need to contact Alvin and have him set me up.

Other than that not much going on around here.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Matthew

Morning guys....it's a beautiful start to the day. Mid 50's right now and headed to mid 70's......except for the wind is supposed to start blowing. Got quite a bit done last night, fixed two computers and installed the cabinet I finished up. Also talked with a former student and he is thinking about going halves with me on that CNC machine I looked at this past weekend.

Well, it's Wednesday, I got to go. Have a great one guys.

Greetings! We have a 100% chance of crappy weather the next couple of days. No biggie, I'm stuck indoors anyway. But I am keeping my eye on the forecast for next Tuesday, which is the first day of golf league. At this point, they are predicting 47 and rain. A little slice of paradise right there :-P

Have a good day, Gurus!

Good morning.

Messing with Matt ranks right up there with taking a good ................. Nevermind ......

No major plan today, just do things that need to be done. Tonight is game night. The menu is bacon wrapped steaks, vegetables and biscuits. The visitors bring the dessert.

A GOOD DAY TO TRIM THE BUSHES, NOT A TASK I LOOK FORWARD TO. THE GAS TRIMMER IS NOT KIND TO MY ARTHRITIC SHOULDERS. OH WELL. I MAY HAVE TO CRAWFISH ON MY NO MOWING TILL MAY PLEDGE, THE WEEDS ARE GETTING PRETTY HIGH.

NO TORNADOES YET THIS SPRING, WE'RE OVER DUE.

We did have a little shower last evening. I was in the basement working on those computers, so I didn't know about it until after it was over. They say we have a chance again this afternoon.

As for Julie, she could predict my weather any day.

Pretty weather here... crappy day at the office...
computer acting up - of course, it's a PC... dude comes to run a cleaner on it then that jacks up my software then I have to reinstall that.. now other computer guys are here rerunning all the networking cabling and stuff to 'clean up' things in exchange for a wrap job on their company vehicle. Another one is trading some web work and he's a real tool... doofus can't spell or anything. I really need to get myself schooled on web work.
Hope y'all are having a good hump day...

Whiskey Tango Foxtrot !

Can someone somewhere please explain gas pricing in a way that makes sense?

There is a BP station just down the block from the Little Blind Woman's house. Over the Easter holiday regular was $3.799, yesterday it dropped to $3.599, and today it is up to $3.859. I don't get it at all.

What is driving this craziness? The price of the gas in the tanks at the station didn't change, "nobody is making much money on it", And yet the price bounces around like a ping pong ball in a blender.

Other than that hope everyone is having a great guru day.

Wow, TB, you have been a busy beaver.

Ken - gas here is around $4.05 in the suburbs, more in the city. I had a heart attack the other day when I filled up. Midgrade (89) was $4.25 a gallon and I had 1/4 in the vette. Cost $65 and the tank is half gone already. With the TDI I fill up every 10 days for about $50.

Tommy - no worries
