Good Morning CGs!

Can't believe the month is flying by like this. Pretty soon it will be June. Supposed to warm up a little more today, around 70* and sunny. That's about damn perfect weather there.

Work today then off for the weekend. I have to drive to MI for a family wedding on Friday. If you don't hear from me, that's why.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Matthew

Morning guys...Talked to my replacement guy this morning, he called to ask one more time if I "wanted" to, not just "willing" to step down. I assured him that "I'm ready". He said then I'm going to proceed, so that means I will also.

Carry on gurus.

Kwawuka maana!

Gloomy, cool and drizzly here, 100% chance of rain today. That, combined with several annoying meetings, means that I have 100% chance of being grumpy.

Congrats, Tom!

Have a great day, yawlz!

Congrats also, Tom. I retired from the teaching profession 13 years ago and have no regrets and I enjoyed teaching as well. The administrative crap kept getting worse, not the classroom.

I did keep up my part-time tax preparation job up for another 10 years. That made 40 years with the same firm. Retirement is a lot of fun. Everyday is a challenge figuring out what to in my many hobbies or just to do nothing but fun stuff like looking to see if there is another car I might like to have.

Best of luck in the future. I'm sure your many talents will keep you busy.

One of the most annoying things in the US is the gang mentality when people want change. Anti smoking, pro alternative lifestyle (if you can call it that anymore), drinking and driving, anti-racist racists. It's not the fact that you (as a group) support a position. It's the holding me down and ramming it down my throat with a plunger approach that I find most offensive. Lou Reed said it best .......... You can all go take a f@(%ing walk ........ We now continue with our regularly scheduled program.

RATHER THAN A WALK, THEY CAN ATTEMPT AIRBORNE INTERCOURSE WITH A ROTATING PASTRY.

I laughed out loud literally when I read that....
Hoping for a slow day today - have a bus and couple trucks to start on for wrap designs. It's starting to get gloomy here and that makes me sleepy and grouchy. 80-90% chance of rain for the entire weekend. Don't Mother Nature know I have a car to clean up??? And yard stuff to do? Perhaps she's trying to tell me to stay inside and get caught up on my sleep? Not a bad idea there, either.

Happy Friday Eve Gurus!

Things are looking up in the world, TeeBee is getting to retire (congrats on this), Letty is starting to sound a bit mor chipper (good news), and of course Tommy as always has enlightneing words of wisdom for us. A state of normal is returning to Guruland.

And with that, here is my all time favorite Lou Reed tune. From the movie "White Nights"

Well, it is official. I turned in my letter to the Superintendent 15 minutes ago. The new Supt came in at 9am and wanted to talk to me about the situation, making sure that it was MY decision, not someone else leveraging me. Went in and talked to my principal and he asked the same thing.

Our "new" co-supt is the one who is trying to leverage me out, but the new Supt and principal have been dragging their feet in the ordeal. But I'm ready.

I did tell them that I would be around to help the new guy and help him settle in. He's told me that I would be welcome anytime to come in. The thing I'll miss the most is the new CNC router, so I requested access to it from the new Supt, which he has granted.

THE SUN CAME BACK OUT AND IT DRIED ENOUGH TO MOW SOME OF THE LESS SWAMPY PARTS OF THE OBSTACLE COURSE. WAS PLEASED WHEN I SCARED UP ABOUT A FOUR FOOT BLACK SNAKE. HE EVADED INTO THE BARN THROUGH HIS OWN CONCEALED OPENING IN THE SIDING. AS HE KNEW JUST WHERE TO GO, I HOPE HE'S HANGING AROUND INSIDE AS WELL AS OUT. HE'LL BE WORTH SIX CATS FOR CATCHING RATS & MICE. THERE'S NOWHERE A MOUSE CAN GO THAT HE CAN'T FOLLOW.
