Good Morning CGs!

Woo-hoo Friday!!! I can't wait for the weekend. Since we couldn't really go out the other day for wifey's bday,we're going to the casino on Sat night with a few of our cousins/friends. Looking forward to it. Ola will go play the penny slots, I'll be at the roulette table, maybe a little bit of slots. Not really a blackjack guru, but that's where my cousin wants to be. I might watch a little. I'm don't really know the "strategy" for playing. I guess I'll have to browse the internet for some tips.

What's everyone else doin?

Hope everyone has a great day!

Matthew

Thanks for that pic Matatk.

Late night last night. Helped a friend finish the cam swap on his later model Vette. Picked-up a couple inches of vacuum, which was his intent. Still need to hat lash the valves, then should be able to call it a wrap.

Tomorrow, I'll finish re-assembly of my trucks old 383. I plan to drop it in the 62 on Sunday. It has 180 CC Dart Pro 1 Platinum heads, and and Engle 224/232 @ .050" HR cam. Curious to see how it compares with our stroked 327, with stock heads and a $55 re-grind cam. If all goes well, I will be taking it to a track rental at Famoso on 11/22.

Anyway, I'm out of pics...

Some of the chicks in the 2nd pic are definitely football gals. Some of them could be linebackers. And maybe a few tight ends.

You can send me the little blonde in the middle for my birthday (today). Yippee, only 2 more years to retirement.

Gotta work today and Sat., then heading out to the local dragstrip on Sunday for probably the last time this year.

The gals were a welcome diversion. My office has had a revolving door all morning - I need to put my "Read Manual Before Entering" sign back up.

Stopped by my mechanics on the way home from the doctors. Good thing too. They gave me two SkyBox Suite tickets for the Craftsman Truck Series race tonight. Thank you very much. I prefer that to Sundays race. Fewer fans. Easier ingress and egress. Let's see if I can score some free Nationwides tonight.lol

Cup is boring, the trucks always put on a better show. In fact, the smaller the trophy is, the better the show is.

But what do I know, my closest track is the most boring of them all. And last time I went, it was 110 until the sun went down.

Andy - Happy birthday buddy!

Tommy - that was their way of thanking you for spending that much money on a heater core

Well it's 10:40 PM and I'm home from the race. The engines haven't even cooled on the race trucks and I'm ready to call it a day. The race ended about 40 minutes ago. Great race in a great location. Skybox with food, beer, and other beverages just back of the start/finish line. I wish I had the pull to get there more often. Never look a gift horse in the mouth.

Ya Matt...... I earned those tickets ......

The Horniday/Benson shoot out was worth the price of admission. Kyle Busch and Todd Bodine made the race interesting.
