Good Morning CGs!

Well, the alarm clock came way too early this morning! I tried to take a short shower thinking I would be a couple minutes ahead this morning, but after the rest of my daily ritual it came out to the exact same amount of time when I was done. Weird. Guess my body is on its own clock.

Raining here today. Was raining last night, too. It's supposed to be warm, though, so that's a plus.

We went out to the store last night to buy a toilet paper holder and ended up buying a couch and a recliner. Go figure. The store had to order them, though, which worked out well since our carpet won't be in until the 31st. And of course, bought the wrong finish toilet paper stand and have to go back to the store tonight

Hope everyone has a great day!

Matthew

Is it a sleeper couch? You never know when you'll have unexpected guests for a month or two. Toilet paper holders are much more important though. You don't want to be wiping your ass on the new furniture. Don't know what I'll accomplish today and don't have a plan yet. All I know is that something will get done. I'll come back later, maybe a few times and boost my post count.

One of the weather geniuses mentioned "snow" as a possibility in the next few days. He should be eviscerated.

Winter must end for you soon. I fear the evisceration of many in your social circle if this trend continues. All will be well very, very soon.

Wore the full winter coat in today.

Man, enough it enough

Still, some parts of the country had Tornado strength winds to go with SNOW. So I guess I can't complain too much.

We have rain for the day. About an hour south they already had a tornado warning.

Best job on the planet. Wouldn't it be nice to only be right about half the time, and everybody's cool with it?

If I only kept half of the hundreds of aircraft I work every day from colliding...

Hope to go pick up the new DD this afternoon. We'll see how that goes.

Have a good one Gurus!

Ugh...Tornado warning...
Back in '99, when I was driving big rigs, I was right in the middle of a tornado outbreak somewhere in Missouri, if memory serves. I managed to get to a truck stop, and no sooner than I set the brakes I heard the warning siren go off. Not fun....I was lucky, the tornado was several blocks away, but it still managed to overturn some big rigs right there on the interstate...

Good morning! Looks like we have some rain headed this way later today. Mabey 2-3 inches which is good. Sure would like to be able to wash a car in my drive way again someday. Had the GE repairman out this morning to check out the washing machine, still in warranty. All he had to do was unplug it to reset the "computer". These new-fangled devices still pizz me off! Evidently their definition of a "super load" and my definition is a lot different.

Have a good day

Good morning Gurus!

Nothing new here.

Been thinking about taking the white Hurst ball shift knob off the Vette and going back to stock. The more I drive the car, the more I realize that ball is just a little too big for me to grab and make a confidant shift.

Anyone know the thread size on a Hurst? Same as stock, I guess, because you're supposed to be able to use the stock knob.

I'd like to start searching for something more ergonomic, and carbon fiber or brushed aluminum.

Have a super day guys and gals!

Here between Reno & Carson City, there's a stretch of 4 lane in Washoe Valley. There's one of those huge LED signs that says. Trucks/trailers not advised or T/T prohibited. And this sign lites up a lot. The wind off the mountain at Lake Tahoe is intense at times.
There's usually a news crew there to get videos of the drivers that ignore the sign.

I hear you, we lived through a F4 back in 87 that killed about 30 people. It's something I would not ever want to go through again. Stay safe

Lots of talk about flooding in the Dakotas. My mom is threatening to stay here longer. If you don't hear from me, I may have killed myself.

You think Tommy is the weatherman? Or that he's right less than half the time. I'm inclined to go with the second statement.
