Seems like I started something in my neighborhood. The guy with the 2010 Camaro is feeling a testosterome rush wants to do an all out drag race not against my vette, but my 55 chevy. What ya think his 2010 V6 304Hp auto against my 55 chevy 572 big block crate engine, 1080 Demon 4bbl, 4:11 Currie rearend, Richmond HD trans believe it or not I think they both weight about the same Aprox 4200Lbs. Oh forgot Torque I think his V6 according to him is 295//572 is 500 plus. He had a few too many beers in him tonight.
What ya expect attorney...he really likes drama...I bet he has to sit when he pees. We have an old runway about 4 miles away, used for this purpose pay $10.00 for 2 runs..old 60's vintage christmas tree but it works. |

Chris: The Camaro guy thinks he knows everything/Harvard Grad/Notre Dame undergrad. Has no clue about cubes/torque. Complains the way my 572 idles/try to explain to an attorney about comp cam.. Soooo tonight wood shop teacher vs attorney.. 55 Chevy was a 6 year ground up resto with 3,500 miles on engine. Its a brut... My wife says Why/I say its guy thing. 8 mpg Ron

Tomorrow there will be a for sale sign on it. Motorweek has the v6 as a 14.9 @95mph. I had a '93 v6 camaro, but it anyone wanted to race I would go home and get my '73 Nova.

The other sad thing is if he can actually afford the SS, and simply could not wait four weeks to get the "Real" Camaro, that is insane.
