I remember I was at a small drag strip in Kansas and he was the feature of the day. He did his warm ups and was ready to run and they couldn't get the timing set or something and he was riding around on that thing in circles and he yelled "You gonna run this sumbitch or what, dammit! We all got a kick out of that! He did make the run.

Daughter was home from Orange County L.A. this weekend with her boyfriend. He asked to go for a ride in the Vette. While driving he asked for my permission to marry my #1. I also told him if any of that didn't go as planned I would kill him dead and tell the Lord he died. He was pale but he agreed, so I said ok but that I would be watching, always watching!

I can't hear it later so I think it is just at startup. But I am older now and my hearing is not so good due to many years of loud rock and roll and straight piped Harleys!

I may have missed it in the arcticle but I thought a ZR-1 had won this year. They were saying that a GT-R driven by Steve Millin did it in 3 min 22.9 seconds. They also say the ACR-X beat Millin but they were disqualified because of their tires were not right.

Good morning! Weekend was ok, could of gone better but can't worry about things beyond our control. (like football games) Vikings had a good win but K.C. got robbed. Can't even talk about Texas beating my Huskers. Texas 9 wins over the last 15 years Nebraska 1 win.

My wife had heard a grinding noise while we were out on a drive in the Vette. I was worried about it so had her sit in the drivers side and run the engine up to see if I could hear it as I got down and looked under the car. I found a stick stuck up in the undercarriage and dragging on the ground. Got that fixed quick! Yeah, honey I think I got it figured out! No, I don't think I will need the Guru's on this one. Yes, I have learned a lot from them! See I told you that I wasn't wasting time!

My Mom is here and that is always a bit nerve racking. She just got off the rant about we never come to see her and we always go to see my wifes family. Mom's tough to be around. Always something!

I was thinking the other day that C5's are more plentyful because of the great economic times we were enjoying before the other shoe dropped. C6's from 2006 thru 2009's will be harder to find since they didn't make as many.
