A friend of mine had a Model A that was being used for the filming of the Sylvester Stallone movie, Oscar (one of my fave comedies), and they had a fire at the movie studio, and so went his little car. Sad.

By default, the old site used index.php
I built the re-director as index.html

Guess I need to build a PHP redirector too.....

at the very bottom right corner, just below the quick reply box is a pull down that allows you to go anywhere... it defaults to the forum you are in. Punch Go! and life will be grand.

Twords the bottom of the page, just below the search is a forum selector box.

Be default, it's loaded with whatever forum you're in.

Just click "GO" to get back to the forum topic listing.
(Or select another forum and click GO)

On the old site we had the option at the bottom to go back to the forum you were in or to the forum listing. It is a little more inconvenient to have to go back to the top. If possible, add this to the wish list.

Thank you for all your hard work. This new software rocks.

Well I finaly got it back on. This is the setup I used.

I also heated the hub in the oven before making the attempt. It all went prity good but was still a little bit of a pain. The only 7/16 thrust bearing I could come up with on short notice was a bit underrated, only good for 97LBS, so it exploded just as the hub seated. I was able to put a wrench on the jamed nuts and hold the motor from turning over when it got harder in the end, that worked out very nice. By the way anyone looking for 7/16-20 all thread good luck, there is no souch thing. I ended up with B7 I think it was, still real good stuff.

Oh and one last thing, is it even posable to get the plug wires on without having almost everything in the engin bay removed?

Castration would be a great deterrent. Shame on me, that would be politically incorrect. We are a country that cannot provide a punishment that fits the crime.

Murder someone = Death penalty. Saves a lot of money and frees up prison space

Rape or Child Molestation = Castration

Armed Robbery = Cut hand off

Bitchy wife = Sew her mouth shut

Public drunk = Take him home so he isn't in public anymore.

I think you get my point.

Remove and clean both surfaces. Put the hub ID on a 100 watt bulb for a few minutes. It will slide right on. Have a couple wet rags handy to cool the hub. Later! Frank

They are closing a flour mill here in Knoxville in about 90 days. Say they are going to operate out of one of their other plants. This mill has been around for about 90 years or something like that.

I just opened up one of my old bookmarks to the old site.
http://www.c4guru.com/index.php

And the page is still there, with NO re-direct.
But if you actually type in http://www.c4guru.com you will get redirected to this site.

What's really strange, is the old site lists 9 people viewing.

430 HP will burn about 190 lbs of fuel in 1 hour at full power. Divide by the number of injecters (8) gives you 23.75 lb injecters. Probably should have a cushin as the injectors will not run for long at 100% so 27 to 30 lb injectors.

It was nice to have a quite Monday for a change. I was sleepy all day. I guess the time change got to me as I went to bed too late. We had to tear the bedroom down to get ready for new furniture to be delivered on Wednesday. We had some guys over to paint it for us. Man did my wife go with a green or what? I mean the room is really green.

As long as she is happy, I don't care. I can't see it at night anyway.

I do appreciate your eagerness to spread the word about bad products though. In a way it keeps these folks in check!
Sorry to hear about your bad experience. It is definately a buyer beware world!

John

Please, let me make something clear. Jesse made zero changes in the tables. No fuel, timing, ve, nothing. He only changed some of the switches and constants.
Now this was why my car ran so rich at idle and part throttle.
I returned it 3 times for adjustments along with documentation showing how rich it was running. He blamed my car and not his programming.
Bottom line is this, he had programmed his own car and all of a sudden he was in the business selling chips to others. Sound familiar? Now he is in the solid axle business. Less than a year ago, he was making post asking what type of welder to buy and learning how to weld!! Now he is a fabricator!!
Check over at thirdgen.org and you will find they banned him at that site. There are post over there, if you search his name that shows when he started programming. He says he is new at it, and is asking very basic questions. At the time I used him I didn't know that, and I bought into his sales hype.
I am warning others, buyer beware.
JJVette, if you would like, I can e-mail the bin file and you can compare it yourself. I sent it out to at least 3 professional programmers, and a few amateurs and they all confirmed the same. I paid for nothing.
Again, if you or others are considering a solid axle, do a search on his name, check how long he has been doing this. And then decide if you want him to build your solid axle.

I like trying different beers. If I just want a lite beer I usually go with Miller Lite or Coors Light. Dark or red beers are my favorites but fill you up fast. Personally, I drink more bourbon than anything.

Interesting topic.
I'll try to keep this short.

I live outside of Milwaukee, which used to be known as "The Brewing Capitol of the World" 35 years ago.

Schlitz, Blatz, Pabst, Miller, plus quite a few smaller brewers were still operating here during my childhood.
Wi. had quite a few other large/medium size brewers also; Old Style/Hilelemann's, Steven's Point brewery-Point Beer, Linenkuegals- which is now owned by SAB/Miller

As the late 70s, early 80s approached, they started to be bought up by larger brewers, or just plain went belly up.
The only Brewer left in Milwaukee today is So. American owned Miller, which still has it's corporate headquarters here, but there's a fairly good chance that the HQ will be relocating to either Golder, Co., or Chicago, Il. That will probably happen soon after Miller and Coors gets Federal approval of their proposed merger (So they can be a larger Corp. than Anhieser Busch)

A few of my boyhood friends' fathers' worked for the breweries back in the 60s and 70s. I remember seeing stacks of beer cases, the returnable glass types, in all thier garages/basements. The Brewery would give each worker a case of beer a week, plus they got beer breaks twice a day while on the job- 1 12 oz. bottle per break.
Those perks are long gone nowadays. So are all the breweries except Miller. There's still a few Micro Brewers in the downtown restaurant area, but those don't really count, do they?

another thing is ease of reproducability... the more complex it is, the expensive it is to make on a t-shirt or what not.

Most people forget that CFs logo doesn't use a GM-ish font, either.

I guess most people aren't Led Zep fans.
