Anyway they leave and 10 minutes later they call on my intercom to ask more questions which I politely (anyone read the sarcasm here) give them the answer. Two minutes later same thing......Bullsh!t. So by the time my next class comes in I'm on a freaking rampage. I think it opened the eyes of those kids. After I was done and i sat down with one of the kids to help them with an issue she was having with a drawing. When I was finished I said "Is everything OK now?" She responds "Yes, are you OK?" Which I told her "Yes, it's just very frustrating trying to satisfy the state, who really doesn't want you to qualify for money that is due to you." SO, my good mood went to crap! Pleasant trip the 2nd time around. Oh yea, for VD I ended up with a purple rose that smelled awesome that I was given from The Dollar General store along with a card from the same place, rose fit nicely in a MIller Lite bottle and yes, it absolutely made my day I'm sitting on my hiney with a cold Bud Light and a nice piece of steelhead trout in the oven.... THESE AND THE WALKER WERE BOTH CARRIED IN SADDLE HOLSTERS. THE FIRST REVOLVERS CARRIED ON THE BELT WERE THE COLT NAVY MODEL OF 1851, .36 CAL. THESE WERE ISSUED TO THE 1ST & 2D CAVALRY REGIMENTS. (IT WAS NOTED THAT THE NAVY PISTOLS WERE FAR LESS EFFECTIVE ON GRIZZLY BEARS THAN THE DRAGOON PISTOLS) IN THE WAR OF NORTHERN AGGRESSION, THE SOUTH GENERALLY STUCK WITH THE .36 NAVY, MAYBE DUE TO THE NUMBER OF 2D CAV OFFICERS THAT “WENT SOUTH”. THE NORTH, ON THE OTHER HAND HAD ACCESS TO THE INCOMPARABLE COLT 1860 ARMY IN .44 WHICH WAS US STANDARD UNTIL REMINGTON UNDER BID COLT BY A WIDE MARGIN. THE REMINGTON ARMY WAS ALSO .44 CAL. CONFEDERATE CAVALRY IN THE WEST, LIKE THE 8TH TEXAS, BELIEVED IN FIRE POWER RATHER THAN SABERS, AND CARRIED TWO TO SIX REVOLVERS. THEY WERE NOT PICKY ABOUT CALIBER OR SOURCE.
