I picked up a new Camaro today, Since I have a company car (van) My girl will be driving it.So she ordered it. It's a base and I mean base model. It was ordered without a spare tire thats how base it is. It was fun to drive today and even though it is a heavy car, It rode and handled great. It was a great buy @ 22k.

Yea, one of the high school kids drove one to school this week, a black RS model. I wonder where they get their money?

BTW that's a sweet one you got!

Congrates! It looks good in the drive way. With the single car garage it looks like it will be speeding some time outside.

Looks pretty sharp. I can't get the large version of the photo to come up to see details.

Color combo with the wheels looks tough.

Wheels look similar to an 80's era S-10 pickup. Kinda retro cool. How stripped is it? Power windows? Cruise?

Wish a fella could get a stripped V8 for that price.

I hope it treats you well

I don't think you can get one with manual windows...

Those days are gone... it makes more sense to make just a couple of power window mechanisisms than to deal with manual windows. I suspect the only place where manual windows still exists is in the truck world...

Did you know that Chevy doesn't offer a manual in their trucks??? I can't find one... Ford does.

True but, the 6 speed Allison kinda makes up for that.

I ride is great and it handles very well. ( I hear on a race track they don't handle well, But I'm not going to try to test its cornering limits on city street) As far as street driving its fun as hell. Even with the V-6 at 304hp It feel really powerful through the 30-70 mph range. For a daily driver I thnk t was great deal for the money.

Thanks, The LS comes with these 18-inch heritage wheels, It has all the good options, power windows, A/c, keyless entry, cruise, tilt telescoping steering wheel. It has been fun so far.

First off,, congratulations on the car. I think they are one of the greatest new GM offerings. I saw many of them this weekend in Ocean City, Maryland for the Street Rod Cruzin. Some were allready modded heavily.

I will be driving an SLP prepped Super Charged RS/SS in two weeks when it gets delivered to Sport Chevrolet in Silver Spring, MD. This is a dealer applied option I believe. It's pretty pricey from what I here but a pretty good upgrade. We will be showing it off at our autocross race that day!

I had a base model as a rental in San Francisco last week, and it was very enjoyable - plenty of power for daily driving and a sweet 'Sport mode' on the auto box. Beats the base mustang by a long way.

My wife really wants a Camaro, she liked the looks and interior of X Camaro Don's car. My wife is a retired English Teacher so her image needs to be updated from a Ford Fusion to sporty. BTW all of her book club members drive Honda Fits and Toyota Prius'ssssss. God the Irony of it!! Prius Don would have a fit. We go out shopping this week. Ron
