Not only is it abuse of a Corvette, but the douche sat there spinning his wheels (there's an uphill slope just behind us) holding up traffic for 10 minutes.
Awesome. I can spend $60,000 for a new 'vette but not $500 for a 4WD winter beater. Or at least a set of snow tires! |

Uh, me.
I have done that. Many times. It's not that I couldn't afford a beater, I didn't WANT to... for 2 or three days a year (in DE at least), it wasn't worth it. |

Well, yea, if you can afford that C6, you could also have a beater.
That being said, I drove some of my C2s year around because I could only afford one car (just out of highschool and in college). I'd suspect there are many kids doing the same thing now with C4s. |

A C4 is one thing, I can understand barely scraping by on a McDonald's salary to buy something halfway fun. But there's no excuse for this...

This was an unanticitpated exposure. The weatherman goofed and we were about 400 miles from home. I was not a happy camper...

I put studded snows on a 77 one time. Back when you could use studded snow tires. Worked good! Car was a POS, but it was all I had to drive at that point.

A friend used to do burnouts with his studded snow tires - sparks flying everywhere - LMAO! As much as I'd love to drive a Vette year-round, I have to believe it would just completely suck in the conditions we've had this winter. My Maxima is dull, but I love the heated steering wheel. |

How about a GTR?
They may be nice track cars But I drove my truck into work yesterday with 4in of snow on the ground and someone took there's in! Granted they have AWD, but that's ridiculous! |

Sounds like a GTR would do great in the snow and mud aside from the crappy ground clearance.
