I know that for some guys in different parts of the country it might not be too unusual to see a C4 ZR1 go cruising by but, for me, it's been a long time. I was on the highway when the Z came past. I saw it in my rear view 1st, and noticed the C4. Thinking to myself how good those cars look to me, he went by. I took a peek to see if it was a vanity plate and, holy cow! It's a wide-assed ZR1 out in the wild!
By now you're thinking, "Bob needs to get out more," and you're right. But is was still a treat to see that Z go by.

Har! I haven't seen one on the road for many years. I see one every now and then at a car show, but that's it.

I know several guys in my club that own them.. . including a few guys with new ZR1's but I tell ya.. I never see them on the road just driving around.

Here in the DC Metro area there are tons of cars on the road and I often see some unique cars like Ford GTs and Lambos and other exotics but I can't remember that last time I saw a C4 ZR-1 on the road! Nice sighting... you should have netted it!!

Count me in on the with static display crowd. Sitting yes, in motion no. I'm like a kid when I see a Ferrari, Lambourgini or other exotics on the highways and byways. Cars from the muscle car era or just the unusual always get my attention too. We have to speed up, slow down and sometimes make an unplanned turn to get a good look at what we don't see on a regular basis. Like I said, It brings out the kid in me ............. Oh wow! ....... Check it out! ...... Nice ......... A short trip up to Miami pretty well assures us that we're gonna see something of interest.

There was a car show in Myrtle beach this weekend so the wife and I passed lots of interesting cars heading to my mom's for Sunday lunch. Even a C3 on a trailer with a late 60's Mustang.

I still get excited when I pass another C4 of any kind on the road.

I find myself waving to C4's when I'm in my pickup.
They're probably thinking: "Who's the idiot?"

Saw a mid-year on the road the other day that looked 45 yrs. old. I was in my '91. Was like seeing a ghost. No wave, maybe he was holding the door closed with his other hand, LOL.

Thanks Tommy, I am glad I'm not the only one that does that. The best sightings I have had are in LA. Holy cow! Look at that over there, (hard braking and turning across 3 lanes to go back to see the Lambo) Went to a Ferrari and Lambo dealer when out there once. Most impresive. We always act like rubes with a lot of shucks and golley's when we go into places like that just to see how bad they can treat us. Of course we are rubes so it isn't hard for us to act that way.

Fun! Good sighting!
