Good morning gang.
It's humpday. Well we had storm come through last night and brought some rain and wind. Temps today are gonna go from mid 50's to the low 30's by the end of today with some snow shower overnight. Word of the DayWednesday, January 30, 2013 wellaway\ WEL-uh-WEY \, interjection; 1. (Used to express sorrow.) Origin: Wellaway is related to the contemporary word woe . It came from the Old English phrase wā lā wā meaning "woe! lo! woe!" |

Welanyway...it snowed and now the wind is bitter and they have a late start at school but they took away the Wed early out so no joy there for My teacher wife and senior son....If I can't get to work its really bad because my office is out where the shop is.....

Good Morning CGs!
Kids are up and running wild. That's a good sign. RR#1 was puking two nights ago and felt sick all day yesterday. Thought she was better but she puked again 5 minutes before bedtime. In a much better mood now. We are taking the kids ti watch Disney in Ice later tonight. I think they will enjoy it. Going on a weeknight is much better. Not as busy and tickets were way cheaper. Yeah one of those guys just set the new record he succesfully surfed a 100 footer.....the old record was 86 feet.....which brings the question....who is out there measuring those bad boy waves....they have the big cajones ya.......

He was lucky...its hard to know how we would react to that kind of threat....we can say we would do this or that but it will take a real incident to find out. My question is about the door locks....I'm trying to think when my auto locks unlock....if the car is running and I am in it in neutral the doors will remain locked I'm thinking....When I'm waiting for Uwoman and we are at idle in the drive I have to hit the button to let her in.....

On a sad note, my neice passed away this morning. She had been battling her diabetes, blindness, heart problems, infections and recently contracted MRSA at one of the local hospitals. It's sad when a 42 year old mother of two leaves that way. I honestly can't say I didn't know it was coming. It was just a matter of time. Her death was drawn out over the last few years. Many will die today in an instant. One thing is for certain. Death is inevidible. Enjoy your days gurus. You never know which day may be your last.

Looks like an EF2/3 webt thru a small town just NW of us. Tore things up pretty good and one killed, a lot of injuries. Picked up and flipped tractor trailers, levelled a large manufacturing plant (no one hurt, they went to the shelter in time) and picked up and threw around cars and trucks travelling on I-75. OK here, but very heavy rain and a lot of flooding now and tonight. No problems for me so far.

I just drove over to the local Shell, there's a red 85 at the pumps.
Took a second look at it, wait, this car looks too nice. The guy bought it from a retired GM line worker here who actually built part of the car on the production line. It has 19,000 on it, absolutely mint. Nice. The guy said I don't drive it too often cause I uaually drive my 09 Z06. |
