The trim package I chose only offers 2-tone exterior paint, which is a new realm for me...black is my color of choice, but I'm not sure I dig the 2-tone in black. Please review the photos and offer your suggestions. Thanks kids! Turns out people who buy Diesel trucks don't buy leather and DVD players. There are only about 5 within 200 miles of me... Lots of them in Texas, though. Who knew?

White looks cleaner longer but white can be kind of bland. It's gonna get dirty so go with your gut. Sweet looking truck there Bill and the van full of memories in the back.

But it's my least favorite. I am trying, but just can't get into it. Do you realize they charge $655 for side steps? Come on! I'm 6'4", I don't need to steenkin' side steps!

Man, I'm with Mat on black, but my current truck is black, my C4 is black, I'm sure my C5 will be black, my Jeep was black, etc. The only non-black car I've had in the last 10 years was the M3, it was silver. Trying to break out of the mold. But I guess that may not be necessary.

The 1st truck that came up was black, but he couldn't get the other dealer to trade. It was also a 1/2 ton, mine's a 3/4 ton. Got a great deal because it sat for a while on the lot. Since your racing, White will display logos easier

Then a big Thunderchicken vinyl for the hood! Too bad they don't have a dark blue. That would be my first choice on that truck with the two tone. But from what is there... Black, I guess.

I have images of them painting over the silver at the bottom instead of pulling the truck off the line before that second paint station. So I'm between this one and the red one now. I just can't do white. And there is no blue in the US.

There's a brown one with the exact options and the tan interior that makes more sense. Brown was my third color choice, but I dunno...I spend more time inside than out.

The big difference though was mine was a dark red, almost maroon. Black is only clean for the first few minutes after you wash it and you can't brush wash black without f***ing it up. You need a UPS uniform to drive a brown truck.
