Seein' Mr. matatk breakfast menu sets me to wonderin'...

What DO you do for breakfast?

For me it's a cup of coffee. Most times with one or more of the following in it, sometimes black.

Small scoop of vanilla ice cream (that's the usual).
Milk.
Maple syrup.
Butter (real). It's a cream derivative; why not...
Mustard.
Sugar - regular, sometimes brown, sometimes cinnamon.
Carnation instant breakfast powder (that's a good one too)

Sometimes I do oatmeal, with coffee fixins, or:
Strawberry preserves.
Butterscotch bakin' chips.
Cookies 'n' cream ice cream.
Peanut butter.
Fruit yogurt.
Honey.
Cream cheese.
Canned fruit.

just kiddin' about the mustard.

I have coffee and wolf down some toaster waffles before heading out the door.

Cup of coffee while I read the paper, then off to work.

Cup of coffee at work, with a small box of popcorn = breakfast.

Today marked the 11898th consecutive day that my wife didn't get up and make my breakfast.

Fresh belgian waffles with strawberries and whipped cream. Takes only 10 minutes I swear, makes 3 and I give one to the old lady and throw the 3rd in the freezer.

Or if I'm lazy, instant oatmeal or cereal or a bagel.

And then maybe 4 cups of coffee, black.

I eat as soon as I awake, then I sometimes eat a 2nd breaky two hours later.

I usually have 4-5 eggs and take out 3 of the yoke's, a glass of skim milk, and 2 slices of whole wheat bread with light peanut butter/jam.

Cigarettes are expensive, but they save you at least that much on food.

(dupe from the daily thread)

Yogurt and an orange juice.

Just enough so my stomach can tolerate the 16oz expresso I have every morning :D

A friend of mine years ago used to have a "get up and go" sandwich for breakfast. It consisted of a piece of bread with peanut butter, and a couple of scoops of instant coffee, folded in half.

One of the few things I miss about living in Delaware - breakfast at Helen's Sausage House. About a 6 inch link of sausage (deep fried) with a hard cooked egg and a shot of syrup on a steak roll. Wask that cholesterol bomb down with a nice chocolate milk and I was good to go. Bogus will verify this, he knows I speak the truth.
