Mine was a Dell laptop - $730.

Got here, worked fine, but had someone's greasy fried grub wrappers included. No roaches following the UPS pied piper, but I returned it anyway.

Got ALL charges back.

Yours?

I think my biggest ebay purchase was some Polk Audio surround speakers that were about $600. I've had very good luck on ebay, and with online shopping in general. I've made a few larger online purchases - a $5000 digital piano, a $2700 digital piano, and a $2500 TV. Never had a problem.

Bought this for the wife, $3650.00.
Drove 1000 miles to pick it up. Towed it home.

$400 for a used Fender Showmaster guitar. It was made in some crazy foreign country, so I wasn't getting too excited about it, but it looked right. Neck thru body, cool metallic blue, Seymour-Duncan Pickups.

I got the guitar that was listed as used, but it still had some stickers on it, and all of the instructions and stuff were in the gig-bag. Plays like a dream. I would not trade it for a more expensive guitar. What a deal!

You guys that buy cars on there... Braver than I. My buddy just flew to Tennessee to pick up a Triumph TR8 convertible. He almost made it home...

But hopefully it will be an easy fix. I haven't talked to him since he got home. He wanted me to come get him in Kansas on Thanksgiving day (same day as my daughter's 18th birthday) I was ready to go, but the rest of my family wasn't having it... I haven't talked to him in person since then. Hopefully he's not too pissed.

I'll post some pix once I see the car. It is pretty sharp, based on the ebay listing photos. If there are any Triumph nuts on here, I bet they will dig it.

Purchased a video projector for about $1200.

It was my first purchase too, so the seller was more than a little squeamish.

$6100 for an off-lease one year old Ford ZX2 (think that's the right name for the sporty version Escort). I found the Vette on ebay, but did not buy it through ebay, it was a local purchase.

$ 220..... just bought a "brand new" 55gph Meziere water pump for only $ 220..... saved a buck fifty or so....

Also bought a new Fluidampr for $ 120..... saved about a buck on that one.

I don't have the guts to actually buy a car sight un-seen from ebay.... my hat goes off to you that do.

I think almost $30 when I bought some Corvette anti theft valve caps last year. lol. Been an Ebay member since early 2001, with a grand total of 9 purchases since, so I average about 1.3 purchases per year. LOL. But I was quite the busy bee in 2001, I purchased 5 items in that year alone.
