It's six years today since I took possession of the 1985, so my wife and I celebrated by getting up (real) early this morning and driving Lauren on some back roads to have breakfast at a 24-hour diner.

It was about freezing this morning, so the L98 was running well and the beautiful new cluster was doing it's full Tokyo by Night thing. More creaks than usual, but it was cold.

Here's a "stylish" photo taken from inside the diner:

After breakfast, we drove back home and I went off to work with a smile on my face.

Tomorrow morning we're trundling her up to friend of mine's in North Jersey - working on the second try at an NCRS Performance Verification.

That would be Light Blue Metallic. Descriptive name - the color is actually really close to the Silver Blue on the 1958.

I love it (obviously ), but it was a failure on the market.
