This is all I got.......great car....Corsa Cat back Sport exhaust system is about the only performance mod.....they are melodious...Had the covers painted and bought the rest of it to dress up the engine....I did put on the front SS mesh cover to help keep the big hoppers from plastering the inside of the air intake....I like how it looks....

Do you have the whole set Bill or only that sign...I made a set a few years back and had them on the road across from the house.....They read....By Our House....Please Drive Slow....Let The Little....Shavers Grow....Burma Shave....Got them in the shop now....I remember my Mom telling us there were signs coming up when we were on a trip when I was a kid. We would read them and laugh or chuckle as our parents would try to explain them to us....then it was back to our comic books...in our 60 Rambler.....those were the days.....

Just the one, paid $10 for it. It would be nice to have a set but, I can't even find a place to hang this one, big sucker.

It's a shame that you can't catch the true nature of pearls with a camera. I'll bet it looks way better in person.

My Dad bought American Motors cars too. Even though he worked for Fisher Body (GM) as a diemaker he could get a nice discount on Nash cars because his Dad worked at Nash Kelvinator.
He bought a new one every 2 years. I can still see the mint green 57 Rambler he bought brand new. We broke it in on a road trip from Michigan to my Mother's parents house near Dallas. It actually had a REAR SPEAKER! We could listen to Elvis and Buddy Holly rockin and a rollin on Route 66.
My kid sister spilled an entire chocolate shake down into that rear speaker and it never worked again
We loved the Burma Shave signs
Let me go out to the garage and take a couple of quick pics.

Ahh Ramblers...ours had the plastic seat covers from Sears that my Dad had put on....nice when it got hot and would give you freezer burn in the winter...but we were saving the upholstery for the next guy damit......I can also remember seeing the old man reach under the dash and pull out the overdrive lever....oh yeah we're going into overdrive...as me and my kid brother would give each other a knowing nod.....we bad we got overdrive in our 60 3 on the tree pink Rambler baby....

LOL

Looking at those shots reminds me it's time to DETAIL the cars. I mean doing the works. Maybe in the fall when it cools down again and stops raining. They can bead water till then.

+1

When my dad died, we had a mint green one, possibly a 57.

I learned to drive a stick in that car.....in our driveway....it was 20 feet long......first gear-reverse, first gear-reverse somehow I didn't burn up the clutch.

Talked my mom into letting me drive it on a military base when I was 12.

After much consideration, I'm gonna cast my vote for Andrew's Z also - that orange just suits the Z perfectly.

Also will finally put Trae's pack together and ship that out at the same time.

Ya, 383 supercharged, auto. I'm glad it's an auto. That way I can keep both hands on the wheel.

Ok then. It gets my vote. While ALL the other cars in the show are beautiful I am voting for yours because: it has owner installed modifications, ie, something more than what GM turned out at the factory. It was a toss up with what Marcus has done under the hood, which is really really sharp looking, but yours just shows the owner taking pride in his ride. Hope that makes sense.

Andy, I'm gonna let you revote. We found the car that way. It was left to die under a tree. We just brought it back to life. I have the mechanical aptitude of a high school freshman. I work only on the easy stuff on all the cars. Thanks for your vote of confidence. I totally rely on the services of professionals.

I will let my vote for your vert stand. If anything the fact that you brought it back from near dead to what it is today is enough to earn my vote.

I'm having a tough time deciding. There are features I like on several cars.

Same here, lots of beauties here.

But I'm a sucker for pearl, so I'll cast mine for NelsonV.

Well, I'm a sucker for for orange. I guess I'll vote for Andrews' Z. Although the white pearl is stunning too.

Well, obviously I love the color Orange......but my vote goes to my favorite car here. I vote for Marcus's Grand Sport. I just love that car, and someday I'll have one real similar!occasion5
