Happy New Year everyone.

Kids were pretty exhausted by 10:30 last night so we opened the grape juice for them and told them it was the new year Then it was bedtime for everyone.

I have the day off so I'll probably tinker around the house and get some projects done.

Hope everyone has a great day!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

CLOUDY AND COLD AND WET. NOT AN AUSPICIOUS START FOR 2015. LOOKS LIKE THE FIRST NAP DAY OF THE NEW YEAR. DON'T FORGET THE BLACK-EYED PEAS.

Started the new year with a sleepless night. Dianne was having some very serious pain in her right leg. Ended up calling an ambulance for her about 2AM. At 7am she called to say they found a pinched nerve and she was released to come home. Since I can't drive that far a had a VERY GOOD neighbor take me to the hospital to pick her up. Hoping the rest of the year is a lot better.

I got a dumb question for you C6ers..
what's those pointy buttons on the steering wheel and what's the button to the right of the steering wheel on the dash?
Yeah I've been online looking, just saw that but didn't know what those were.

Without pictures to see exactly what you tlaking about, Letty, I'm going to guess, The button on the dash, to the right of the steering wheel is the start button, there is no place for a key. Just have to have the FOB close to start the car. I also guessing the car you were looking at was a 06 or newer, and an automatic? If so, the buttons on the steering wheel are the buttons to shift the trans when you are in "manual" mode.

Indeed - hope everything is OK!

Off to a very slow start here - we had some company and were up late. Hopefully the Gophers will prevail in today's game - first time in 52 years that they've played on New Year's Day.

Happy New Year, Gurus!

Yea, I ran my VIN and it's in the recall. I need to take it over to the Chevy dealer and have the fix performed.

Hey, Andy, glad the wife is OK. Always scary calling the ambulance in the middle of the night.

How are you doing yourself?

Andy I think of you often and wish nothing but the best for you and yours. Hope your spouse gets to feeling better soon. The important thing is that testing identified her problem and staff initiated relief. Hope you both get a better nights rest.

What a nice start to 2015. Got an e-mail that a new "toy" I have been waiting on is now available, order placed. I will post a pic when it arrives. And it isn't for the 'vette.

Whipped up a nice lunch of roast pork, mashed potatoes, carrots, and green beans. No kraut, can't stand the stuff.
