Post your plans for your summer mods?

Mine are:
1. Put on Rear Coilovers (fronts are on)
2. New Stereo receiver to go with my new speakers and amp.
3. Mount the Accusump that is sitting on my work bench.
4. Paint rear calipers

After that it's time for a paint job!

1) Re do headliner (with material supplied by our own tobijohn)

2) Get power antenna to go up and down

3) Diagnose/Repair PKE

4) Hurst Install (by someone other than me)

5) New radio or send Bose out for repair (clicking from CD. One is stuck in there)

6) Ponder more aggressive rear end (4:10?)

7) Minor modification to stock exhaust ( Whatever Notorious said I should do... I forgot what that was...)

And I'm seriously considering putting the stock sawblades back on, and maybe selling off the Z06 wheels. I dunno.... I feel like the car needs a brighter wheel package. Not necessarily chrome, but polished or brushed aluminum or something.

My winter mods/repairs broke the bank. I'm going out to beat those mofos up a little bit. If something is going to break, let me be the one to break it.

Let's see, my summer mod list, eh?

I think I'll keep it simple this year....

(1) Charge the bettery
(2) Clean off the dirt and dust
(3) Fill the tires
(4) Drive it.

That should take care of my mod money this summer.....

Install dropped axle, rebuild flathead... Oh wait, that's for the Model A! The Vette's had her share (more thousands than I'd care to count) over the last few years. Now she'll have to take a back seat for awhile. I'm sure she'll revolt in some way or another. Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned, as they say. And her paint job waits for another year.

Tint and LT's/exhaust. Then I might get more aggressive once those are finished

I did enough work this spring, gonna just enjoy it for a while. I have a new stereo/GPS/amp/speakers waiting to be installed, but I may wait until winter now.

If you need an extra set of hands let me know. We're pretty close.

Yeah...a lot!
Basic stuff:
Tint the windows
The rest:
383 with NOS or similar setup
4 link rear with 12 bolt axle
Rebuild transmission for racing
6 point roll bar
Upgrade brake system
Upgrade front suspension

Since Moroso Motorsports Park is going to be closed this summer, it is a perfect time to get my Vette done and ready for low 10's in the 1/4.

Are they 10.5" rims or the skinny girlie ones? If they're the wider rims then I'll buy them...need a set of 18's.

My summer mods start with getting the car running again (turning into a nightmare), and adding whatever that requires. Currently investigating updating to a '94 computer and eliminating the Optispark and doing the distributer mod Cunningham posted in another thread.

My winter mods were pretty significant, what with the full roll cage, fuel cell, and all the stuff required to make her pass race tech. She's done for awhile.

They're staggered. 17 on the front and 18 on the rear. I'm pretty sure the rears are 10.5.

If I had 18s on all four corners, I would not even think about selling them. I think the 18's look so much better than the 17's. Nice lip on the larger wheels.

Shocks and paint.

I don't do mods, I just constantly repair/restore the car.

It's like the Golden Gate bridge, they paint it 365 days/year. By the time they get to the other end, the beginning needs TLC again.

You wouldn't happen to be interested in a set of mag C5 wheels would you?
