Good Morning CGs!

Welcome to Monday morning! How is everyone after the weekend? How are the New Year's Resolutions coming along? Who broke them already, only 5 days into the new year????

Diet is going well for me. It's been a week now and I'm feeling good. For anyone who is seriously interested in eating better, you should sign up for one of the online food trackers like I did. I am using a site called "myfitnesspal.com" You type in your food every meal and it tracks all of your calories, protein, fat, carbs, etc. Seeing it in print (or on screen, rather) helps keep you on track. Workouts are going well, too! I'm looking forward to being the lean, mean, fighting machine that I used to be.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Matthew

Greetings! First day back to work since before Christmas - I'm going to need to be re-trained. The alarm clock was NOT a welcome sound this morning. That, combined with a balmy -3 degrees, and a poor Vikings showing yesterday has me off to a great start.

Their defense kept them in it till nearly the end though, it was a hell of a football game. I like a good defensive battle. Although I also enjoyed watching the Eagles humiliate Dallas the week before. But of course I always enjoy watching anyone beat Dallas and even better, blow them out!

I too have to knuckle down now that the holidays are over. Oh well, I'm still not working nearly as hard these days as I used to for so many years.
Happy Monday everyone....

Don't have to worry about New Year's resolutions - I don't make any. Figure to never make a promise I can't keep.

Quiet morning here, so nothing else to say except to wish everyone else a nice day.

Go Chargers!

Pittsburgh is favored by 6.5 over them next weekend. Those sound like excellent betting odds to me.

Good morning, Gurus!

It's another beautiful day in the neighborhood today. Except it got a wee chilly overnight and there were reports of ice on the cars this morning. Craziness.

Abstinent

If you car doesn't have ABS it's abstinent.

If your mid section doesn't sport a six pack, your abstinent.

My brother is a Colts fan. He was just saying, for about the 15th year in a row give or take 1 or 2 in the middle, that the Chargers just somehow have the Colts' number. At this point I'd have to agree.

Steelers takin' them down tho.

I've been hatin' on the Cowboys since 1975 when they stole the NFC Championship game from us - LOL!

Meanwhile....

An armed, hooded robber bursts into the Bank of Scotland in Edinburgh and forces the tellers to load a sack full of cash.

On his way out the door with the loot, one brave Scotsman grabs the hood and pulls it off revealing the robber's face.

The robber shoots the guy in the head without hesitation!

He then looks around the bank to see if anyone else has seen him.

One of the tellers is looking straight at him and the robber walks over and calmly shoots him in the head also.

Everyone by now is very scared and looking down at the floor. "Did anyone else see my face?" calls the robber.

There is a few moments silence then one retired Scottish gent, looking down, tentatively raises his hand and says: "I think me wife may have caught a glimpse .."

Done stationary bike or sit-ups, or both, every day since about the 27th.

Need adrenaline therapy or some steroidals in a big way to help buff up these busted sticks of mine...
