Well I've never posted pic's of my vette on line but I always enjoy looking at pic's of others car so, today I cleaned my cars and figured why not snap some pic's? Here is my '93:

man, what a pos. I mean, why even post a pic of an old beat C4... no one cares... everyone hates on'm.

That is sweet. I love the black on black. When I was looking for my C4, I had three on the original list, Polo Green/Tan, Black/Tan and Yellow/black.

As I researched, I found the 92/93 yellow to be rather blah... so I swapped that for Black Rose (saw a pick fell in love)... BR became #2, with a bullet, but was damned near impossible to find.

So I went PG/Tan.

In all honesty, I find the C4 overall shape to be better than the C5 and C6. It is proportioned very nicely and has a very strong character line. The sweep from front bumper, up over the fender to the rear bumper. Very distinctive.

what about those rims? What are they?

LOL I was just going to say I have a few threads going would you be so kind as to clean them up?

Polo/tan is a fantastic color combo. Very classy. When I was 20 (1995) I bought my first C4, a sliver/grey two tone '84. At the time I didn't know too much about Corvettes, as I wasn't on the internet yet and there are few Corvettes up where I live. I pulled into a gas station and there was a guy fueling up a '92 or '93 polo/tan vert. Car was just a few years old and it looked beautiful. That was the first time I saw a later C4 up close. That car left a lasting impression on me. Even though my car is black/black, I love polo/tan to this day.

I agree 100% with your sediment regarding the lines of the C4. I bought my current one last July for my B-day. I pondered long and hard between a black/tan '99 C5 and my black/black C4. Well, you know how it turned out. I don't regret the decision for a second. I love the looks of the C4 to this day.

The rims are Z06 knock off's from E-bay seller "O E Wheels". Just got them Friday. 17x9.5 and 18x10.5 deep dish rear. The add says "Z06 wheels" but I've yet to see a Z06 with this style wheel. I considered several wheels for about a month before these won out. I was a little skeptical about them as I wasn't sure how they would look but now that they are on the car I am more than pleased with the choice. Best part was they were cheap too, $585 shipped.

Love the wheels. You're the first guy I've seen with those mounted.

They aren't an OEM copy, they're sort of an aftermarket redesign of the base C5 wheels. And I like em. A new option for the 88+ guys.
