Looking good Bill. Yea, it's way easier to put the uppers in first then the base cabinets. The ledger strip on the wall makes life easy.

Amazing what they will try and stick you for those finished backs, Heck I would have only charged you $300.....

Try putting up kitchen cabinets by yourself. I've got pains in muscles I didn't even know I had.

I just got up and think I need a nap.

I do that, Bill....not that bad.... I probably have a few tricks that I use though. It is work isn't it? An extra set of hands is always good.

Goooooood Morning Gurus.......Marcus, I had three daughters, all married now (although one is separated). I told the first one I have xxxxx amount of dollars to spend on this wedding. Do what you want, but anything above that is on you and your fiance. They spent about 1 1/2 times that amount (hell they were making about 1 1/2 times more than my wife and I, at the time), it was nice and the wedding didn't cost much over $10k. We did the other two girls for about the same $$$$ as we spent on the first one (neither of them had much money), but the point is I'd set a limit, anything above that, OK but you're paying for it. OK, I've said my piece.

Back to school today, it's -4 right now, but is supposed to warm up a bit today, mid to upper 20's.

Got to go for now, I'll check in later.

Evening guys......crap it's been another really long day. Started out with donuts at school at 6:45, then a faculty meeting at 7, then a committee meeting at 8:45, then I ran home to pick up my GS to bring him up so he could watch some other b-ball games. I got to my shop about 10:30 and at 10:45 there was a general announcement that some water pipes burst over in the commons area where the "A" boys games were being played and they needed everyone over there to help clean up (voluntary of course). So we headed over there and the guy who was scheduled to run the clock in the morning session had bugged out to help clean, so the lady scheduled to do the book was trying to run the clock and do the book, both at the same time.......WTF? So I ran down to the court and took over the clock. The guy assigned had never done it anyway and had it all screwed up, so at half time of that game I re-programmed it and got it set straight. Then I worked 4 more ball games.

Apparently the pipes that broke were part of the fire sprinkler system. They were able to get that water shut off, but then about three times through the afternoon the audio/Flash fire alarms went off, what a freaking mess.

On a good note my GS played an awesome game.....29 points 6 assists, 12 rebounds. And the team that has been there nemesis this season, (#2 seed) and potential next round opponent and hosts for tomorrows round, got beat by the #10 seed. So hopefully they will have their heads on straight for the second round.

Oh it's still cold here....high of 10 today, looking for a low tonight of -10.

I have a mens group meeting tonight so I am headed back out. I'll try and check back in later.

Post Whore? Nah, Marcus you're not even close, Tommy? Maybe but like you said, that's his job.

Hey guys....it's been a loooooong day. I went to school to do a few things. My jointer knives needed changing, I got that done and I worked the rest of the day (until 6:30pm) on some counter tops. The wind finally went down, only blowing 12-15 mph right now. Still going to be cold tomorrow, 13*. Supposed to be in the low 50's by Friday...bring it on.

Tonight I got my P90 workout done and I'm pooped from the manual labor. We have an early morning tomorrow with a 7am faculty meeting, then a bit of a work day and then I get to work the afternoon session, first round of the league MS b-ball tourney. My GS plays in the afternoon, I hope they decide to play as a team.

Everyone stay warm out there tonight and tomorrow.

Good morning... No school here not so much for the snow, but for the cold. -5 right now with 30-45 mph winds. My wife still needs to go to work, so I will take her. I have a couple of different projects to work on today, so I'm not going to sit around.

I'll check in later.

Tom, I think the 90X is just double what the P90 does. Do you go for an hour or 1/2 hour? On most days they will go through the excercises and then do them all again. I do ok on the first half hour but it gets real sloppy on the last half. Ya sometimes I just lay there like a slug.

It gets worse, they have a program now called Insanity, where you are supposed to get ripped in 60 days. No old guys in those ads.

Marcus.......about a half hour is all mine is. 40 minutes one day and 26 (or so) the next.Insanity is the reason my daughter offered me the 90X, she has moved to "Insanity". I watched her do one workout, crap, that one would literally kill me.

Matt, I don't think mini-donuts are on there either....

Tommy, I'm pretty sure that not the case.

Afternoon guys...it has been an extremely busy day. This is the part I hate about missing a day of teaching, it takes three times the time to catch up what you had the kids do when you were gone. On top of that my principal called this morning and wanted to come in and evaluate me.....O KAY. So it has been busy, busy.

Marcus, P90X is much harder, much more intense, than the old P90 that I do. My daughter told me this past weekend that I could have her copy of P90X. Nah, I think I'll stick with my version. But Matt is right eating right make a big difference. Tommy's funnel cakes aren't on the diet...

We have started getting the weather here. We are under a winter storm watch, the wind is blowing and instead of snow, we are getting some freezing drizzle, making things slick. The snow is supposed to start later, although snow alone isn't the problem, but wind and wind chills in the -15 to -20.

Don, glad to hear you are making progress on the cleaning of the car before you get the engine and trans back. The effort will all be worth it when you are all done.

Morning guys....I'm up, I think. Bill you sure are up early. Getting ready to go to church...early mass. We have at least 6 hours of driving to do today, weather is supposed to be changing to much cooler then downright cold Tuesday. No weird dreams here, I slept well, probably just like Samantha....

Bill, the kitchen will be together before you know it, then you can again make your coffee in the kitchen instead of the bathroom, where you seem to have bad memories...

I'll check back in before we head home.

Hahahah....Bill you crack me up. Good Morning guys. I slept well last night, but I'm up now. Headed over to my BIL to pick up the washer and dryer for my daughter in a little bit. Other than that not much else planned.

Matt, I've done that sooooo many times, it drives me crazy and in reality, it not much of a drive.....more like a walk across the street Tommy's right though, it will eventually turn up, usually right after you buy another to replace it. Recently I needed a padlock, couldn't find the key. I looked for it for four hours....finally gave up and used a different one. About two days later I found them, the I couldn't find the freaking padlock.....CRS disease.

Well I have to get around. You guys have a great day.

Hey guys......I finally made it. Got up pretty early drove 3 1/2 hours to get here. I spent 5 1/2 hours today at the woodworking show. Sat in on a couple good seminars and bought a few things. Got back to the daughters house and headed out to eat. I keep forgetting how much fun it is to go out to eat with a 2, 5, 7 and 10 year olds.......I think I can relate to Matt's situation.

Bill, did they all show up without damage?....I hope so.

The weather was nice today, in the 60's, tomorrow the bottom is supposed to start dropping out. I get to move a washer and dryer tomorrow.

I'm tired and will probably hit the hay early.

Good morning guys....It's Friday for me, headed to KC after school, well after the GSs' b-ball game. Stop at the in-laws and then up early tomorrow to get to KC by noon. At least it's supposed to be a nice couple of days, 60's here today and in the upper 60's tomorrow in KC.

A mens' group up north of us had a stag last night, so several from our group went up to it. Lamb fries, salad, beans, veggies and of course a few adult beverages. Had a good time and still got home at a reasonable time, but I'm dragging a bit today.

I didn't want to get up this morning when the alarm went off. Our alarm isn't quite as persistent as Tommy's. Well, Brad imagine that....But I hate listening to the news, like Tommy said, it's not news. It's more like "he said, she said". BS Bill, I hope everything shows like it supposed to and it all in good shape. Did you get the stove working? Marcus, I haven't had any trouble with the Avs, are they back to normal now?

Morning guys.....man it's busy here already. Marcus, that was a great thing you did with your mom....I'm jealous, my mom and dad passed 4 and 6 years ago..I miss them. Cherish the time.

It's hump day and the kids are doing better. The weather is getting better each day this week looking for upper 40's today and upper 50's tomorrow and into the 60's Friday, then starting a big cool down...20's by Monday.

Tommy, that sounds like a plan. Maybe you'll wake up by then Bill, make sure you duck when you "fire" that baby up for the first time. About time that the cabinets are showing up.... David, sounds like you dodged a bullet there. I hate freaking deer. Don, how soon will you be getting the engine and trans back? I bet you are getting a bit anxious...I would be. Joe, that one did take me back too. Hoya, Hoya, Hoya

Good morning guy....Everyone appears to be doing well. The party sounds as though it came off well, Matt. The driving school is something that I would really like to do some time. Nearest ones to here would be in Colorado Springs. I'm going to go to the site you posted Bill and take a look.

It seems as though my insomnia Sunday evening wore off on some of the rest of you guys. I slept better last night. Got the computer done and delivered. The GS played his game, won and he had 14 points, 9 rebounds, 4 blocked shots, 5 assists and didn't play in the fourth quarter. One more regular season game Thursday, then tournament play next week.

I'm taking a professional day Friday. As soon as the GS plays his game Thursday, the wife and I will head for KC. We will go about halfway Thursday eve and spend the night with the wifes' folks, then get up and get to KC before noon. The Woodworking Show will be there noon Friday-Sunday afternoon. It's something I always attend and I can get re-cert points for it.

The kids are a little better today, maybe the weather is going to be a little better. Looking for highs in the mid to upper 40's for the next couple days.

Well, I need to try and watch those videos before the next class comes in.

Morning guy.... Good thoughts for the wives today. It's pretty nice here 40 already, but only looking to go into the mid 40's...pretty much normal temps for this time of year.

Hey guys, I have a Speedo, haven't worn it since I quit coaching swim team....wasn't a pretty site then, as I recall. Hopefully Brad looks better in his. The picture kind of looks like me, except for the toned tan body, the sandy blonde hair....come to think about it....it doesn't resemble me at all...except in my mind.

GS has b-ball game today, should not be a tough game. He has another one Thursday, then next week is the tournament. They need to win these two games to get a good seeding in the tourney.

Kids are pretty lackluster today. I didn't sleep well at all last night, my mind was going 150mph, just couldn't shut it down.

Well a week in on my return to Power 90 and I can tell a difference. Lost 2 lbs last week. Not a big loss, but a loss. I feel better and I think that my metabolism is picking up..

The one posted was the GM.

The other engine one is a little tougher too.

http://www.americantorque.com/game/60s-V8-engine-ID/

You got 17 right out of 19.

This test is way more difficult.

http://www.americantorque.com/games/1960s-Car-ID/

You got 89% (50 right out of 56). The average score is 65%

Nailhead's are Buick engines called nailheads because the valves sat almost vertical and looked like nails sticking out of the head.

I got them all right......what's so hard about that? (BTW I didn't cheat either)

A: Correct. Not a Ford 289 (distributor is in back), not a Pontiac (spark plugs are below ex ports), not a Mopar 360 (spark plug location). 73% (97373 out of 133728) of the other players got that question right. You got 17 right out of 17.

Good afternoon guy.....I've been up for a while, I did sleep in a bit. Not as cold as it appears that most of the rest of you are. I got up and went out to the shop and routed the edges of the doors, cleaned up the shop a bit and then came into the house. I'm now working on a damn computer....anyone ever use CLONEzilla?

Not really into the football thing, so that doesn't interest me. Now the golf stories, those were funny. Thinking about shitcanning the computer work until later, going to the garage and playing with the Vette.

And I just watched her interview video on ABC - she's an idiot.

Well, right there's your answer to the law suit. She needs the money to pay off her 'friend'.

She a freaking idiot, embarrassed, how could anyone know it was her? She must have told people about it.

Good morning guys....I slept in a little this morning.

Tommy, that sounds like a good time today...and by the way, your 90 looked real good in the pic yesterday. Marcus, I feel for you guys, but we have yet to have a real snow, about 2 inches is all we've gotten at any one time. The one coming this weekend, is going to miss us too. No moisture here is getting to a critical stage. Matt, I've been 'booted' from my own bed before, I know the feeling. I do hope you guys up north get a bit of relief from the cold and snow.

Not much going on here today. I'm headed back out to the shop to work on some cabinet doors. Middle GS has a b-ball game at 1pm. The wife and I might go to the 'city' for grocery shopping and then church this evening.

Glad to hear the wife is doing OK Tommy. Don, I don't know anything about sailboats, but that looks like a neat project.

Morning guys.....35 now, headed for mid 40's. We are experiencing a basically normal winter (except for no moisture) Our snow has been spotty and very little rain. North and East it is a different story. Aren't you guys up north glad for the global warming?

GS played very well last night, they beat the second place team 61-52. GS had a good game, not many points (they were collapsing on him), but that left others open and he had 8 assists, 7 rebounds and 12 points (6 for 6 at the freethrow line). The other team tried to make a comeback, but down the stretch the boys made most of the freethrows.

Ron, that sounds like a neat robot. Matt, don't overindulge. Brad, make sure that you keep that sweater on when you go outside. Marcus, get those projects done spring is around the corner. Not much going on for me this weekend.

We bought a refrigerator from them, got put off 3 times, finally went in and bought one they had on hand, ended up spending more....don't know if we saved anything or not. When we went dishwasher, washer/dryer shopping the wife said we are not even going to HD to look. It pissed her off so much she won't even consider them for appliances anymore, and she is the calm, level headed of the two of us.

Good morning Guys....I'm laughing already. I'm ready to go to school, just an hour and a half from now....

GS has a game today, if it doesn't get canceled. It shouldn't the snowy weather has stopped, the roads aren't bad, just a little slick in spots.

Tommy, I hope the wife bounces back quickly. Matt, you'll find that the more kids you have, the more difficult it will be to get them to cooperate all at the same time. Marcus, so you guys bought iRon, I didn't know he was for sale...speaking of Ron, I need to clean the dust collector too, might be a good thing to try and get done today. Bill, glad to see you back today, have they given you any indication when the cabinets will be there? Sucks that you have the cart in front of the horse.

Well, I need to go get my GSs ready to go to school.

Freezing fog is doing just that, freezing. It is getting very slick out there, several kids have fallen on their keisters. I just wish it would snow, at least it wouldn't be this icy crap.
