I really hate to do it... I was hoping it would run its course but it hasn't.
The hot chick avatars have to go. I don't want this place to be associated with sleaze in this manner. Sure, I like a hot babe like everyone else, but gee... Is this the appropriate place for it? I have already filtered a few in the recent past. But now is the time to filter them all. You see, when people log on here for the first time, what do they see? The shout box with various women in various stages of undress. Sure, attractive, but is it necessary? With all of this, I require that all hot chick avatars be swapped out by Friday. After that, I will be swapping them for you. If you want a face shot, fine. But the full body bikini stuff has to go. One final requirement: Hot Chick Friday is ok, but only if the thread is started with HCF or NWS. Not in Daily Chat, either. I want to read Daily Chat at work, and can't with nearly naked women in there. This way, people won't get suprised. Also, upload the pics to our site. I don't want cross links to porn sites, no matter how innocent the picture, it's still linked. And those cross links will kill us at work. I want the Guru to be a family friendly site. I have said it a millions times, if you want sex, type it into your favourite search engine and watch the match count jump into the low 10 figures. Thanks, Andy |

I am in full agreement with all points of view presented.
HCF stays but with an appropriate header.  At least we can still say words like poop, caca, boobs, butt and boink. |

Thank you all so much for respecting my request!
It means a lot. You have all nailed it. Some do get sensative to it, and I am afraid that we may have turned off people by it. It is one facet of modern life that bothers me - perception is reality. And if someone perceives this place as sexist, then that's the way it is. I am not a sexist; perhaps that is why I got tired of it. I respect women as much more than just an object to ogle. I have also recieved a few PMs on the subject over the months. Initially, they were complaining about specific ones, but I can't afford to alienate people because of something so minor.
