Almost ready means some cleaning up of vacuum hoses, install the distributor, give it a good once over, clean things up, add tranny fluid. Stuff like that.

It matters a lot, especially when the motor torques over. Was worried about that when the initial pic of it came up a few weeks back, didnt want to say nothing. Fixable though.

They even went as far as to drill and tap a hole in the block to put a hanger for all the starter wires. They are going to custom cut a set of spark plug wires, really, really detail oriented. All those little things mechanics typically forget. They are going to fix one of my injector plugs which is cracked. I mean, really, really detailed.

I work with contractors all the time, and the details all go out the window as soon as they get behind and start racking up unforseen costs, typically because they lowballed to begin with to get a job they maybe shouldn't have.

Master Guru Indianapolis, Indiana 784 Posts Member since: 2005/9/16 0:00	I like the duration at the fact that it is Hyd-Roller but I don't think it will make 600HP, IMO, you would need a stout Solid Roller cam for this type of HP. I hope I am wrong. My buddy makes 425 RHWP with is 246/246 solid roller @ 11:0-1 CR in his 406ci, some have done better than this but this is with professionally ported heads etc... But if I was forced to "guess" at the RWHP I would say that 460 rwhp or possibly as much as 475 RWHP should be obtainable.
