I heard those injectors suck and they are non-servicable/nobody wants to mess with them beacuse their fail rate is so high.

I have 15 Multec injectors,
I lost one someplace.
They all test at 16.2-16.4.
Are they worth hanging onto?
I'm switching to the 2nd design
Bosch.

Plasma TVs are the worst TVs in the history of TVs. They burn in the fastest of all TVs ever made, the picture is not as good as CRT can be, their life span is short, they use ALOT of power for their small size, and they are usually very expensive to repair unless its a common issue that the same repair person has fixed many times before.

Yep, just tried that, the Panasonic NV-HD620 is now also doing it out there.

The stupid thing is the NV-FJ600 lives out there, doesnt do it one bit out there, but does it very slightly in here.

Unfortunately, when you don't take out an extended warranty, your stuck holding the bag. Unless you charged it on a major credit card that doubles the factory warranty. Then you can file a claim with your credit card company. After 12 months you know that neither Sears nor the manufacturer want a Haier up their ass. Next option is a reliable local TV/Electronics repairman. They usually have a minimum charge if you decide not to go on with the repair after a diagnosis. Good luck. Oh ya, check to see if it has a reset button or circuit breaker.

Unplug it from the wall and wait a while, i dont know that brand so i dont know if that will work, but i know it works on some of the LGs and it works on some of the Conia brand of TVs.

Front wheel bearings

The testing did not go well and the project has been placed on hold for the time being. Maybe later this year........

Until then, we still have a RWB GP going on and since the pledges are not responding, this GP is open to everyone.

Rats!!!!!!!
We could always use a good less expensive source for front wheel bearings.

This is a 42 in plasma EDTV by Haier, 17 months old, no warranty anymore, screen simply quit. POOF! Upon investigation, both Sears and Haier seem to dodge responsibility and this appears to be a very common problem with my model. Posts have been made about some board issue as well as some kind of 'update'? Anyone hear of this or know of a solution? Much appreciated. I can't afford another dang tv, vette is still in the shop and that comes first.

It doesnt matter one bit where you put the aluminum shims. Ive been moving them around for over 9 years and never experienced a problem. The NYR spring will be a fair bit thinner than any 84 spring, so yes, youll need more shims, or thicker shims.

On the 90 there was probably some sort of packing above the top spacer between that and the diff housing.

The more shims you put at the top means the higher the car will sit, the more you put at the bottom and less at the top means the car will sit lower.

I had this same discussion with an engine builder here in town near me, and then again with Lloyd Elliot when I was trying to figure out what I wanted out of my car. Indeed it has a lot to do with who you are and what level is acceptable for a daily driver.

My criteria was this:

1) the car had to idle at a near stock level or slightly higher, also it could not idle so low that I could not put it in gear without keeping a foot on the gas at traffic lights.
2) I had to be able to reach inside the window from outside the car and be able to turn the key and have the car start and continue to run, even in the winter.
3) It had to pass all local emissions inspections and be street legal.
4) Pump gas not regular, but normal 93 octane, but no 100 octane Aviation fuel requirement.

With all of this said, I think that I found the LE2 level and similar packages would fit this criteria if the cam was not overdone. Can achieve up to 400 to 420 hp and do all of the above with an LT1 and supporting modifications. Some people will take this further but I think when you go beyond this you begin to have issues with idle and drive-ability.

Just my humble opinion as enthusiast, not a professional car guy.

I have never had a problem with it. I have a ton of room for text and pictures. I do understand we have members with low res. Might be something worth looking into for a fix that works with both low res and high res. We should be able to find a happy medium.

I'm guessing around 450 HP. Supercharged 383 with upgraded transmission and exhaust system seems to be adequate but I'm still in the testing stages. Ive only put on 3000 miles and it has yet to see the drag strip. Still have to baby it a little and break it back in after the gasoline in the oil pan debacle. Time will tell.

I would ad one to the bottom as close to .225 as you can get based on what I see, doubt seriously if .015 on top will cause any issues.

Agreed from a practical standpoint mate, but this is a case of supply and demand. There are no new ones available and people want them in order to run the wide tires. The ones still around are bringing big bucks, go figure!

Well the Samsung combo unit is brand new.

The Panasonic NV-FJ600 plays them fine out there but only about 95% in here,

The Panasonic NV-HD620 wont play them properly in here, however it has done for a very long time.

The Samsung i had given to me to test was known to be working, but it wont work in here.

The RCA VRA-868 does the same as all the above.

They cant all be out of alignment by the same amount, and the manual tracking does nothing at all for them.

By take the receiver out of the equation i asume you mean the Sherwood? There is nothing at all wrong with it, ive allready tried removing it from the loop and even unpluging it will it was removed from the connection. No change at all.

I wouldn't give up on the idea based on that thread, just using it as reference. Why not see how much it would cost to produce them? I might even kick in half the price of a GM set, but I want a piece of the pie!

I'm definitely going to pursue it. I've got to get some pics and other info to the guy who said he could do it but in describing it to him, he didn't think it would be any kind of a big deal to reproduce them. The question is how much labor is involved in getting them to the "ready for paint" finished state...

Have to laugh at this one, typical of car manufacturers really, the parts manual uses one type of reference (three letter code) the service manual uses another (color), duh!

What what a great idea.

I am red_johnny and I am in Augusta, GA and I have a decent supply of tools and two sheds where I can house large parts or tools if need be. I can turn a wrench and I am decent at trouble shooting but I am no expert. I can always lend a hand at the drop of a dime reguardless of who it is. I also have a mechanic freind who is willing to help for a small fee. If I dont have the right tool he probablly does. I also have a large gerat room which can be used as temporary lodging if the situation requires. I would be happy to host MOD partys. I can also lend a hand in home repairs and arcade games.

This is what I think Bogus is referring to. The window rattles beacuse they are either worn or missing. They are fairly cheap. You might considering insulating the doors as well. Midamerica sells the kit for around 40ish.
