Nope, they don't want to hear logic. Our sun is a star and is aging.
Been MIA all weekend, worked Friday for extra cash, didn't feel good all weekend and just sat around Saturday, although I had big plans to deep clean the house. sunday got a few things done then sat in the pool, just too freaking hot out. Supposed to be 100 and 101 respectively tomorrow and Thursday. Have a school vehicle due in today for wrap discussion, guessing they'll get it here the hottest part of the day. I need to bring a change of clothes up here in a go bag for days like this if I have to be outside. I can't stand having to sit here all funky. It's gonna be hotter than a wore out Dewalt blade cutting off a catalytic converter this week.

Good afternoon, warmed up some here today our cold front is about to be over. In the office today for some extra cash, had some calls and a couple of walkins, and one logo job to start. Looking forward to the weekend.

aliens. always blame the aliens. or the government.
One of those two will always be the cause of strange things happening.
sun is out today and consdierably warmer than the last couple days. Was hoping for cooler weather so I could work outside some and get caught up out there, don't want to but need to.
Slow day at work today, all my projects are approved and sent to the print que. I'm bout to go up front where they have Pawn Stars on the tv and see what a Devo hat sold for.

Glad car is fine but burning trans fluid is one of the worst smells I have ever encountered, second would be axle grease

Good afternoon, cool here again too, we're not complaining. Got proofs out to people, waiting on them to reply, need a quote for one and I'm waiting on that. Also waiting on my Rover part, be glad when it's back, not a fan of his truck at all. Nothing much happening here

Good mornin, trying to get caught up at the office, someone at least filtered out a bunch of the junk mails, have a couple of things in there I need to tend to. Have a dude with a Harley coming soon wanting something to cover up a paint blotch on the tour pack, bragging to me about how expensive it is and yadda yadda. He's one of *those* (insert eye roll)
Couple other little things and I have a ton of missed calls. Only 4 left messages and 3 of those were spam. I'll call the one back, if they didn't leave me a message then it must not be too important or they got someone else to handle it.
Have the Rover at Arron's dealership for a new door actuator. When I got the thing packed to leave, and tried to lock it, started beeping at me and alarm going off. He got in the "message center" and found which thingamajig was the problem. I can get an ebay part for 100 and him fix it but we did get the warranty on there aftermarket so he's doing it at the stealership. Part there is 500, dang. Well, at least with a job ticket, he will get paid for fixing it. I'll only be out 250 total. Not happy to be driving this tank of a truck of his though

Good afternoon, overcast here with sun out now and then, cool front coming through for a few days, we need it. Might get some stuff done next weekend if it's cooler and less humid.
Amen to that song, heard it for the first time today. Of course Rolling Stone magazine put a negative slant on it, "extreme right finds theme song" or something like that. Well, the song ain't lying. RS must support government overreach and child abductions?
Anyway, off the box, headed back outside to sit a while while I have one last day off.

Good afternoon, made it home just after midnight last night, enjoyed the week. Yes I want to stay there , depressed about being home. Home don't feel like home, the beach spot does.
Rained good earlier today, weve not done much but sit around. Of course on my beach group pages from our area, I see the water is nice today, the day after we get home. I tried to get him to wait a week, but he said he'd done had it scheduled. Oh well, it was nice and quiet and peaceful anyway. Glad you found your pup, marcus, yes we do what we have to. When our old girl got out I fetched her muddy butt in my vette. Got the car nasty but it cleaned up just fine and she was home safe. Miss that hound

Good afternoon, happy late anniversary Tee, something to be proud of.
Been extremely hot here this week but wind off the water makes a nice afternoon of sitting out. Been getting a short rain bout once a day . We visit here at the cape each time we come to PCB, opted to stay this time due to less crowds. Nearest beach sitter is at least 50’ away if they are there at all. We rented a house here to avoid crowds, condos, screaming kids and ghetto music. It’s nice and peaceful and at night it’s so dark! Had no idea there were that many stars and can see the Milky Way even. Been a good week, dread heading back.

So sorry for your loss Tommy. At least you were there to provide a happy life.
Speaking of which, I think I found the best seat in the house here. Outside ‘bar’ area and made myself a pink grapefruit mint tequila thingy .

Good afternoon, we made it to the beach house we rented about 3 yesterday, did well on time. Didn’t realize we change time zones just up the road so that confused me for a bit. Brack in the back yard bay in the front yard. We’d love to come back here, not crowded.we’re on the St Joe Peninsula or Cape San Blas as they call it. We’ve visited but this is our first stay.

Good morning, headed to the beach, prayers for a smooth trip we sure need it. I got the Rover all cleaned and packed and the alarm started going off for no reason. Wouldn’t let me lock it. Up at 2am moving it all to the truck. Frustrated. Ready to get where I’m going and relax. Y’all have a good one.

I'd like to own a few pastures and plant a ton of wildflowers out there in them and set me a little one room cabin underneath a tree for me a little hideout.
It was unbearably hot yesterday bout 100 and humidity bout the same, today much cooler and tried to rain earlier, storm clouds but no real rain. we need it. And I need that bird feeder. i also need a new pellet gun so my squirrel problem will diminish while my freezer stock increases.
Got the Rover cleaned up yesterday, all packed up today ready to roll in the middle of the night. Annnndddd of course it can't be that simple. Some problem, alarm started going off for no reason earlier. Tried to lock it and it barked at me, wouldn't lock, then when it did , alarm went off again, drove me nuts and I'm sure the neighbors weren't happy. Googled it and found that I'm on in about 87 million folks having that same problem. All over what looks to be a $18 part, a hood sensor latch. The thing thinks someone is trying to open the hood. Read where it can be bypassed by pulling out the two wires on lower left and twisting those together. I can order a part and looks like something I can do myself. Arron will be home soon with his scanner and he'll look it over. I really hate to unpack all that shit if I don't have to

Good afternoon,
Not too bad at the office today, just sent a proof for another of the roofer wraps, they know it ain't gonna happen till I get back but if I can get it in the que, one more step ahead for me. Overcast here, just feels weird outside. Supposed to have Vette club meet tonight, gonna skip, need to go home, clean out the Rover, start getting beach junk in there, do some laundry and such, clean up house were I can. Continued tomorrow

Taste like chicken -
Good morning, what's left of it. Busy day again, and here I thought I could hide out and rest in here today. Everybody spazzing. And, I have another fleet vehicle coming today sometime from my roofing guys and one of them is about to be mad. Have one with a truck that wants his installed first, and one with an Expedition who was printed first. Expedition dude is new hire, truck dude has a few years in. Not my circus, not my monkeys but the boss of the outfit says do the new hire's ride first.
And, for the first time in my life I believe, I just got told "I'm sure glad you are going on vacation next week, I'm covered up and I do not need you here lol".
Hell if he'd pay me I'd take two weeks together. Can't remember the last time I was able to do that.

Good afternoon, started out overcast and cool this morning, warmed up some and the sun came out. Been busy as all get out at work, seems the public has found out I'll be gone and it's dogpile on me week around here. I have owner backed up on installs for the next couple weeks at least. Plus he has security film installations at the schools around here and one church. Bout to wrap it up and head home for more stuff to do. Need to get the beach gear assembled, washed if it needs it, clean out the Rover, have a list made for the next few days.

Gonna go with what Ferrari
busy day at work, ran myself ragged. Folks must know Im bout to be out of town for a week. Had a 2500 Ram quad, 10" lift with camper shell show up today of course had to measure it in horrid heat and humidity. I hate that crap, first thing in the morning and need another shower and nowhere near home so just stuck like that. Cousin across town had a tree randomly fall, jerked power box off the house, electric company shuts power off for "safety" and here it's almost 100 out, they're both disabled, nowhere to go, no money, they've not got their checks yet. Aunt works but cousin's son robbed them blind cause he's on dope. And somehow I end up in the middle of that crisis. Always do when they have a crisis, but when I have one, they're nowhere. Plants are all watered, food is made, Arron is still working and I'm bout to go to bed.

Good afternoon, very hot and humid here again today. Had housework and yard work planned, nothing has been done, just not into it. Still sleepy. Ran to Little Rock yesterday for a whole body bone scan, that was an all day event and Friday traffic coming home at 530 in Jacksonville put me over the top. Then I stayed up too late watching tv. I dont even want to go get in the pool. We'll see what the day brings, later y'all

Good morning, hot here today already too, sun out and not a cloud in the sky. Got an F550 utility dropped off today from Dyersburg, he saw some work of mine elsewhere and they referred him to me. I've already sent him a proof, maybe today we can make some minor adjustments and git 'er dun. headed to Little Rock tomorrow for the all day bone scan event. Check in at 11, then goof off for 3 hours then go back for scan. I'll be bringing my favorite Who Dats Cajun takeout home. He's about halfway home, I found him by accident many years ago, just a white food trailer with picnic table out front and now it's a nice large restaurant. He still works the place along with his family and it's a common occurrence for him to wander up, sit at your table for some small talk, check to see that your food is good and recommend other things. Not too many of those places left.
Let's make it a good day

Good afternoon, been hot here and busy. Had to go to the next town over to measure some windows for a school for graphics,I normally don't go do that but we're all covered up and just doing what we can. I have three wraps already headed to print, he's slammed with other stuff and I've got things coming in, plus one more due any day, a utility truck. Did I say it was hot? Did more yard work last night, weeded the last two flower beds, one full of lava rocks so my hands hurt today. I still need to sweep all around pool and pick up some things/clean up then Ineed to start in on the house again. Seems you can write your name on everything in there. Work is never done.

Not sure how but think there needs to be a law passed or something that requires the person who's yard the tree is in to pay deductible at least and then the insurance company cannot hold it against you for that claim. Used to be 'act of God' things didn't count against you but not now.At least not for us. We got cancelled over a tiny claim. Of course now, house note is higher since we switched but I also added more coverages so some of it is my fault.

Good morning, been covered up at work already, nobody should know I'm here but some smoke signal must have gone off.
I worked in the yard all day Saturday, havent' been able to since before surgery. Way overdid it, but I go a lot done. Got all the hedges around front and the side of the house trimmed, flowerbeds all across front cleaned out, all along side cleaned out, plus two others that are off to the side out front. Trimmed our bradford pear tree with my new baby chainsaw so Arron could mow under there easier, plus our weeping mulberry needed a haircut. Hauled all that to the curb, even used my blower to clean up my mess. I have a yard trashcan packed full. And, Arron mowed last night and blew crap back on the driveway I just blew off. Men. When I got done , I took a shower, sat on the couch and passed smooth out. Head hurt I could tell I did too much but it has to get one. I still like 2 flower beds out back to clean out and move some plants around. And, the house needs cleaned again, I'm never done it seems like. ARron has been busy with the '57 that turned into a nightmare and has other waiting. He's worn out too.
Tee I would find some way to get my $1000 out of them. Negligence of their trees falls on them not you. Insurance says it's your issue since it's on your property but the tree isn't. I have a neighbor that way too and whatever of hers is hanging over my side is about to be cut smooth off.

Good morning yall. In the office on my off day, I'd rather be home asleep. Supposed to storm like all getout at noon again today. Beyond sick of it. I'm all good with a rain, but blowing, hail and crap we're sick to death of here. Tee, there's some here I'd like to tell to go to hell too, but need to be nice to the customer. Except, one the tint guys and myself all ended up on the phone with, tint manager said if he called again he was gonna tell him off. Entitled mindset is the root of the problem most of the time. Hoping for a calm day today. Can't check email, Yahoo is down, can't troll FB apparently that's not working either. This forum working fine, plus one other that I'm in seems to be working allright. Weird.

Matt I have some real doozies. Have one in an email battle with me over a price to "install" a banner, guessing none of his 25 employees can stand on a stool and loop a grommet over a nail about head high. We don't do that, but said we would for a fee since he asked. Then he tried to cut 2/3 off our fee. We don't work for free. I told him I'd take off 10% but that's our hourly shop labor rate and we don't do that anyway Allegedly he's mailing me a check since his store is here and he's in Houston at a corporate office.

Happy birthday Tommy!
Overcast here today but its' not raining at least. Had a last minute client show up at 10 till 5 yesterday with an Expedition to be wrapped, have that ready to print already. They have several vehicles, waiting on approval for two others, they're dragging their feet then send this one over. Oh well, whichever they want first I don't care, just git 'er dun. Need to get nails done after work but I hate sitting there for that, but these are about had it. Need to also find a vaca spot for august 5 if Arron will make up his mind where he wants to be, I'll handle the logistics of the rest of it, as usual. (Logistics: the detailed coordination of a complex operation involving many people, facilities, or supplies. - 'complex operation' being the operative phrase in this situation)

good morning, what's left of it. Rainy looking out side today but none yet. Did seem cooler this morning. Storms were horrible yesterday, high winds, hail , the whole nine yards. Lots without power, one tree on our street uprooted. We've had so much rain it's a wonder they all weren't. We got a solid inch in the short amount of time the storm was here.
And, my redneck skeeter screen remained in place.
Not where I can screen in a patio right now, and not gonna try in this humidity, so came up with an alternative. $20 Had the track up already from having plastic up this past winter. Took plastic down then bought the mesh for summer . I also ordered a magnetic doorway that I’ll add in with quick hand stitch but it hasn’t come in yet. I have not weighted this at bottom , there’s a good 1.5 feet extra but I can easily if I need to . To hold at top I folded mesh over a couple times then poked cording in there so my clips would hold better but the cording really isn’t necessary.
Note: those mesh things that fit over umbrellas would work too plus they have water tubes on bottom to add weight. I chose not to get them done I was trying to go the cheaper route and I needed 95” minimum height, most of those things are onlu 7-7.5' tall. Between 65' of screen at 10' tall, and the magnetic opening, I'm out about $50.

Good morning, We also have the outdoor sauna. When you get up and look out the windows and they're all steamed up, you know not to go outside. Spent Saturday in the next town over, my friend has a shop I consign glass to, I hit a couple my hole in the wall haunts, and spent $6 on a $290 vase. It will be listed on the next auction. A hard to find thisle 12". Visited with her and then stopped for groceries, got home around 7. Arron was over there working on the 57. Supposed to be an engine R&R and has turned into all kinds of mess. Sunday I got in pool some then had a squirrel moment an ended up doing yard work. Same thing yesterday. I have a ton to do but at least got some completed. Sore all over.

good morning Gris, gloomy and cloudy here too and very humid. I tried to beat the rain to work and got caught in the worst of it, lightning was remarkable though. I decided to hit the coffee shop next door and get me a tall one (will last me all weekend), and by the time I parked over at the office it had mostly quit. Would be a very good day to stay home and sleep a whole day like I've been wanting to do, but I have to be here to make up for being off Wednesday. I should've worked Monday instead but had stuff I needed to get done at home. Hoping for a smooth day today. Got word I go back to Little rock the 28th for a head to toe bone scan. Anyone had one of those? Not a bone density or ct scan etc, said this was different.

Good afternoon, rain here this morning, boomers woke me up too early, been pretty busy at work. Doc office didn't go like I wanted yeserday but hopefully he will get me to a solution. he is at least trying which is more than all the rest. Seems my previous hip surgeon wants to be stingy with MY records. I have zero issue taking a day off and just camping out till I get them. They're mine. I have to go back in a couple weeks for a head to toe bone scan. At this point I'd just soon them cut it off at the waist and eliminate the hurting parts. Not really but you get desperate after 5 years.
Planned to work in the yard some when I got home but there's heat warnings out. That crap has GOT to get done though at some point. I did trim back all 11 of the dwarf english laruel luyken things. makes me sick to do it, the winter ruined them I think. They all got leaves coming back then out of nowhere, they all died off again except a couple. I just got sick of looking at sticks and cut them about a foot off the ground. I don't know what to replace them with. I considered azaleas, but there's 3 sections and 1 gets all day sun, one gets mixed sun/shade and one gets mostly shade. I need something that will look uniform in all of those types of light. Replacing the laurels is a no, as the tiny ones are $100 each and I'd need 11 so nope. These are supposed to be all light/shade plus low maintenance and they've been anything but.

Sunny and projected 90 today, humidity is lower, it was 62 last night, and cool, felt nice. Have a few things on my desk this morning, so taking care of those, I'll be in Little Rock tomorrow for doc visit, prayers he can help me since the others here can't. Surely I'm not meant to hobble around in pain the rest of my life.
Tommy lets hope that doesn't happen that way, but I've always said, if I croak nobody will notice till they smell me later.

For men, low T will affect it Metabolism slows and you lose muscle For women a bazillion different hormone imbalances cause all kinds of ruckus. I agree on the protein, look for a good one that is "complete" as in supplies all aminos, eat clean, eat healthy carbs healthy fats and proteins in balance and moooooove. I'm just now getting where I can do stuff, still get tired real fast though. Did some yard work today so that will count as gym day. I'm not back in gym yet but will soon, now that I see I can do stuff. Was afraid to rip stitches prior. Oh and water and sleep, need lots of both of those. For protein they say .75 gram per lb of body weight. Or, 35% of calories per day. 1 gram of protein is 4 calories. I also do fish oil, vit D3, and a basic daily vitamin.

Good morning,
I was reading his post from yesterday too and it made me think of how I'm way older than I feel like I ought to be and starting to see issues I only thought "older" folks had. Some days I feel 17 some I feel 87. Depressing.
Gris did you figure out what got bloodied up since it wasn't the barn cat?
Storms heavy yesterday , I don't know the real figure from the weatherman on what we got but it overflowed our pool. Saw up out on the interstate an excavator was sitting in a deep hole he'd dug and only the top little bit of the cab was sticking out, they'd pumped it down a bit but yesterdays rains probably buried it again.
Sun is out today so probably will just sit in pool all day since I'm off. I need to cut all the hedges down but not up to it today.

Good evening, not much going on here, stormed last night, we got a ton of rain again, and it washed up on the back patio up to the house so my dirt mess I need to sweep will have to wait till it dries again. My dwarf laurel hedges out back either need cut to the nub or pulled up, so got me a 6" chainsaw, 20v Craftsman last night, has been handy so far. Only trimmed one bush here but did some for my cousin across town with it. It's all kinds of muggy here supposed to storm yet again late tonight. I might be working inside the house tomorrow or watching tv since it looks like it will rain all day.

Good morning, sunny here, cooler but muggy. Apparently got a bunch of rain last night, it started right before I went to bed, woke up to the pool having about 4"extra in there. Car club meeting last night, I had forgot, all I wanted to do was go home and go to bed, so ended up out a lot later than I'd wanted to be. There's quite a few new '23 vettes in the club now, wish I had their cash flow, the Z06 that we did paint protection up here on is due to join this month also, couldn't make it due to prior commitments for the meeting. his wife is the one who left the snotty message on my work phone while I was out for surgery, that should be an interesting meeting in person when they get there lol. I don't care how much money you got, it's still "just a car" and we've done cars that cost 5x as much as those things up here so no need to advance an attitude toward an employee that don't even have anything to do with your job at hand. She got the wrong extension by mistake when she called up here to schedule her car and started off being an entitled brat. Hoping peopley things are at a minimum today

good morning, it stormed sometime during the night, woke up to wet back patio and grass. We needed it, but I didn't set my rain bucket out for plant watering rainwater. missed out. It's sunny and hot again, getting to the office to see what the day brings, hopefully smoothness and no stress. I do need to call the hip doc in Little Rock, I have an appt over there Wednesday, so after all the kidney issues, I'm sure there's some records they might need. I got numbers for four docs they can get in touch with. You know you're getting old when you all of a sudden have more doctors than you do friends.

Let freedom ring!
Slept in today, then while Arron was asleep I got out the exlarge HexClad skilled, fried up a whole pack of bacon, biscuits, taters with cheese, gravy the works and a pot of coffee in the '52 percolator. I think I ate too much but it was good.
Clouds in and out here, cooler than the last few days. Might get in the pool, might take the bike out , up to Arron today, yesterday was my day. I stayed in the house and cleaned top to bottom except for a couple of rooms I don't hardly use, I'll do those some other time as I need to purge First time i've been able to clean like that since my surgery, I was 8 weeks post as of yesterday.

Good afternoon, hot again here today, no rain in sight. Storms predicted last few days and nothing. Took a drive toward Memphis late last night, swimsuit here in a store I wanted but out of my size so drove up there to get out of the house. Still came up empty handed, did get rained on coming home, at least the Rover got dusted off.
Been in here cleaning for a couple hours, getting tired so bout to hop in the pool a while. Arron has a side job tonight after work so I can finish later while he's out of the house. Nothing else going on here

Good afternoon, hot as all get out again here today, heat index this morning was already at 111. Sat in pool all day yesterday, staying inside today. I need to be cleaning but have done nothing yet but hold the couch down. It's cool inside but for some reason a really hot and humid day even makes me feel bad when I'm not even out there in it. Might go take a nap.
Sorry for the kitty Tommy and for what's going on with your neighbor, bless 'em. Beautiful photo Gris.

Good morning, slept in, have my '52 stainless percolator working for me a real cup of coffee to get my day going. Already beyond muggy and hot here, 103 expected, then chances of storms later. I'd just soon stay inside all day, a hot pool feels more like a bathtub. Plus I need to clean house. Arron has worked till nearly 10 every night this week, he's probably gonna sleep all day, so whatever I do on this end of the house I'll have to be quiet at. Can't clean quietly or with a man in the house, so prob not much gonna get done round here.

Good morning, bout to close up shop at the office today, guys told me get my junk packed we're closing at noon. closed Monday too, they want a long weekend. Ok by me. It's beyond hot outside again today but supposed to cool off some in a couple days. Needs to we're wilting down here.
Tommy I'd rather have a keister shoved in my face than some of the other stuff I see. Of course I could return the favor and they can kiss mine while they're back there, right? :D
Bout to hit the grocery store and head on home, I don't really plan on leaving the house this weekend.

Don't even get me started on that mess y 'all. I'm in one of my other forums and someone fussing about the "sex/gender" questions on their medical exam forms started this same conversation. Do what you wanna do in your bedrooms with whom you choose, not my business. But, when you need a parade to prove to the world you take it up the keister, that's shoving it in my face. I have gay family and I love them, not what they do, that's their business and they keep that to themselves. On the same note I don't wanna see a man and a woman all tied up in public either.
Hot today and then some, will be tomorrow and of course, rain predicted for the holiday. Going to the phone store after work, please send good vibes. I'd rather go to the DMV on a busy day.

Good afternoon, we were supposed to have storms again this morning but guess it went around us. Means I have to water plants when I get home. IT guys got phone working late yesterday I took it home and screen was black again after I tried to use it. I did a soft reset like 4 times. Took it to him again this morning, he did it and it worked for him. I hate tekkie junk. Trying to do a new backup in case it quits again. Not too busy of a day at the office, and I'm quite allright with that. Supposed to be 102/3 here next couple of days, I'm not allright with that, however.
Gris, congrats on the great-grand!

good morning, it's already almost 100 here, will be the next few days, just that time of year. I don't even want to be outside in the pool hardly. Have been outside helping remove a very old wrap off a pizza delivery car. Of course it's outside all day every day and it's black so it's baked on and it was double wrapped. Lady wants to give the car to her neice. Thing reeks inside, eww. Smells like pizza and hind end. Dropped phone off at our IT place next door, guy will be in this afternoon to see about it. I have photos and things in the cloud but my 'notes' and music I don't see there and i thought I had everything synched. I see some notes but not the two most important ones. Fingers crossed he can fix it and me not have to get a new one.

Good evening, hot AF here and muggy. I'm frustrated with life and didn't sleep good due to skeeters chewing on me and crap so I just sat in the pool like a toad frog all day. I have so much to do I just want to sit and say to heck with it, as I don't think I"ll ever get caught up. Tried to sit in pool some yesterday till that storm blew us all over the place, speakers I was listening to quit. I thought it was them, then figured phone was too hot, picked it up and it was in boot loop, and screen was dark. I got out to put it in the shade and dropped the thing in about 2" of water. Don't figure that hurt it but boot loop is either that battery I put in a bit back, or a software/hardware glitch. Phone makes noises I hear it but screen is black. Can't win for losing. Just made me a Dalgona coffee hoping I can get some energy to do some stuff. I'll drop phone off at tekkie place next door when I go to work. Ccost me prob 300 for new screen . Then I'll trade it in to ATT for 700 and get me a new phone I have been wanting anyway. This one has been a PITA for a while now. Plus it's a tax write off.
Storm yesterday was all of a sudden, we went from 0 to 85 mph in a second, then three mins later it was done. Neighbors tree uprooted, my guy, the dude on the other side of me and one across street chopped it up and cleared the road, made the weather man's fb page. Stuff tore up all over town, and we already have tornado PTSD from that last one that leveled the whole place includng our nursing home. Tried to get the cousin over here, she was in her house when tornado hit it, she wouldn't come then wiht her copd and anxiety she had an attack and I had to call welfare check on her . Just nuts all around this weekend. Y'all have a good Monday night

Good afternoon, I'm at work today for some extra coins and there must have been a smoke signal that went up or it was on the news. My phone has blowed up today. I usually come in on Tuesdays and often don't even have any missed calls. I've had a ton today, and been busy but at least it's been quiet. Way better day than yesterday. Matt this has been a pricey month for us too, $1600 for a new termite contract yesterday, plus a few other assorted odds and ends. We sued the old company so had to find a new one. Hope yall have a good weekend

good afternoon, been a crazy day here, again and this time had some jackass sprinkled in with it. Did yesterday too in the form of a lady with 2 kids in MY lobby when she should be next door. (in spongebob: BuT tHeSe ChAiRs LoOk MoRe CoMfY (eyeroll) Loud AF and stank, couldn't even sit in here and work, then some old geezer came over here and literally cropdusted all over both offices and we couldn't get that smell out. I even sprayed the good stuff. Today, however, a man came up here to get go cart parts that I'm doing a wrap for. i went outside and he screamed his ass off at me, had me in tears, then he calmed down, we talked and it's all over his idiot entitled wife getting mad cause she thought I'd have a proof up there Friday when she brought her check. NO, I told her plainly I'd have invoice up there and that I do NO work until deposit paid. She went home and ranted over her own mistake and cause him to come up here and upset me. I hope he tears her a new one when he gets home after it all. I hate people this week.
Tommy, hope you get to the bottom of your issues and they take care of you .
I also remember HCF and think I've contributed a time or two. I don't recall, however there ever being a HMF for my benefit haha

Good afternoon, Tommy you posted the song that I heard in my head when I read his post. Earworm now.
Been busier than a one legged cat in a full litterbox today, and I'll be here Friday too since now I get to do some production work that I normally don't do since the owner will be gone and his install help will be covered up. Working on a kid's golf cart layout, they find crap online then ask can I copy it. Sure but not for $124 that you found it online for. More like 625. I have about 15 folders on my desk so far. Good problem to have I reckon. Have a termite dude coming at 8am, that'll be a fast 1600 he makes. We are changing companies, the old one didn't honor their policy and we had a termite swarm start and we ended up having to sue them. So, naturally they dropped us. Add that to the tax write off pile for me. There goes my vaca money.

Gris, def reverse Midas day, and it's still continuing. Tried to sit down and rest and eat supper, dropped the same bite 3x, last time it landed in the floor. Im just done for tonight. If I get through this I"ll have a brownie and bourbon and call it a night.
Those small town little pecker cops are at it all the time around here. One town, Gilmore got shut down like that. Only a certain percentage of a city's revenue can come from traffic citations. They well exceeded it. And, it's also not against the law to flip them off. Back years ago we all took a trip and one of our crew flipped one off, pulled us over, and while they were hassling him, I called one of my editors at the paper. Next thing I know we're front page and all sorts of fit hit the shan. Tyronza here is another one. My ex used to work for them, those cops were widely known for pulling over 4 cars at a time. I remember the day he came home telling me he could now do that. I told him he better not tell anyone that he knows me. I can't stand small town crap like that.

Nothing like sleeping in your own bed.
Civil forfeiture is a crime, I'll never see it as anything other than flat out robbery. Period. I would love to see them go bankrupt having to repay all that was taken from innocent folks plus millions extra for hardships suffered.
Love the poem, Gris.
Been a busy morning so far, walked into a blizzard of stuff. Got stung yesterday cleaning hummingbird feeders, at the end of the day while trying to relax. Pissed me smoooth off. I have been taking a daily hydrocortisone pill anyway so I think that offset the swelling, plus I applied wet cigarette and cream. It's not near as bad as it would have been. Then trying to get ready for work, made a nice iced coffee in a tumbler, set it on the counter, then it spilled all over my clean clothes, and my new Birkenstock shoes and all the front of the cabinets and floor. I literally screamed my head off. Feels like the whole universe hates me sometimes. In here working trying to concentrate and some uncivilized inconsiderate dudes getting helped next door, come over here in my lobby to sit being loud AF. Just had to get up and go outside for a while till they left. What's wrong with folks? Hoping for a better rest of the day.
