I don't pay attention. I find I am much happier after leaving the gas station if I have no idea how much it cost me to fill up. I know I need the gas and I'll be buying it no matter what so what's the point in getting pissed off about it. LOL. I'm sure I notice but if I ignore it I can't remember and in fact until Tyler posted our gas price I had no idea what it was.

I've seen it from 3.69 to 3.89 for 87 octane depending on the station/city. That's in the suburbs. Downtown Chicago is usually about .40 more a gallon.

4.299, IIRC... thats for premium last week. I don't remember what it is this week.

Much of the CA gas price issue can be resolved if the nation would allow different gas formulations.

The failure to get a simple pipeline issue resoved really chaffs my ass. If they were to finally get approval, who would build it? Apparrently kids today would find trenching, welding, constructing and transporting jobs demeaning. Just think of how much revenue it would generate in the fast food industry.

Ooops ...... I drifted a little off topic .... again.
