SYS means there is a DTC present in the CCM module mate. It doesnt stay on solid if youve got it set to display coolant temp, it will swap between the 2.

You have to retrieve the DTC to find out what it is, and i doubt very much itll have much to do with how the car runs, cause its CCM and not PCM.

The 12 volt DC charge is the battery and electrical system hooked up to your car.

Once that current is flowing in one direction or the other things are going to dissolve and or plate.

It's also a blue tag. I've heard others mention green tags and grey tags for the replacements.

You know the best way to repair a ZF is to install a TKO600?

Cool cars guys!

Hey, 81c3, do you still have the factory wheels from your Z06? If so, are they for sale? :toothy5:

I don't have pix of most of these cars, but here's what I've had in order of ownership. I started driving in '87.

'72 VW Beetle (My dad and I put dual Webers and wide fenders and stuff on it)
'84 Honda CRX
'89 Honda Prelude
'88 Toyota MR2
(Then I had kids....)
'86 Chrysler Lebaron
'88 Honda CRX Si
'93 Ford Probe GT
'95 Ford Ranger Splash
'83 Toyota Celica GT
'92 Ford Explorer
'93 Acura Integra
'68 Plymouth Fury
'72 Ford F250
'86 Honda Prelude Si
'01 Suzuki Esteem
'89 Isuzu Amigo
'93 Corvette

This does not include my motorcycles or my wife's cars. Most of the cars in this list after getting married had over 100k miles on them.

The Lebaron was the biggest POS in terms of how the car felt.

The Ford F250 was the one that gave me the most trouble.

The Plymouth Fury was the only car I ever sold at a profit. Paid $800, put about $100 into it and sold it for $1,500. Bought it in 2002 from the original owner and had it for about 18 months.

The MR2 is the car I miss the most. Bought that one and the '89 Prelude brand new. I was living at home and working as an assistant manager for a Kay Bee Toy & Hobby store in Harrisburg, PA. I think I was making like $15,000 a year, and spent almost all of it on toys. It was fun, but stupid now that I look back on it.

The Corvette is my overall favorite car that I've ever owned.

OMG, I had an 86 lebaron as well, it was the convertible with the Mark Cross leather and turbo. It was actually a really nice car and I got a ton of compliments on it. People might laugh, but the car actually got more attention then any Corvette I ever drove, especially when I had the top down on a really nice day. I miss that car. It was in the shop on a monthly basis, but it was fun to drive.

Has any one replaced the single row set with a double row set? Cloyes is the only aftermarket set I have found. A bit pricey at $355.00…Without the need for a cam driven water pump gear, there must be others that will fit.
It’s just a small block Chevy…

This is kinda' funny. Back when this song was popular, our local station bleeped out the line, "When I think back on all the crap I learned in high school." That's so laughable. Can you imagine bleeping out the word "crap" these days?

I think I'm gonna call it an evening folks. I shall return bright and early for the Thursday Chat, provided I can make it all the way to work. Forecast is for a possible 5" of snow tonight.

Be safe, everyone!

Yes. Thanks for the tip.

I'm going between those arrows, and the F5 key.
The url is way at the top; MS, Google and Yahoo toolbars between

I don't particularly care for the IE7 layout, and I've had it for 6 plus months.

anybody think of maybe getting a guru cruise in going? Not to copy the other site but seeing a bunch of c4's would be the bomb.

Considering how many C4s there show up for gatherings, we'd have em matched.

Nobody drives these things anymore. Most events I went to I was one of maybe 2 C4s, sometimes the only one, out of 20+ vettes.

On our last get to gether (casual Corvettes of the CSRA) there were 4 C4s in attendance (1-96, 1-95, & 2 94s). There was a 78 and 2 C6s and 4 C5s.

They give us those nice bright colors
They give us the greens of summers
Makes you think all the world's a sunny day, oh yeah
I got a Nikon camera
I love to take a photograph
So mama don't take my Kodachrome away

Great song. It takes me back to working at Jack's Shell station when I was 19 years old. That was too many years ago. Paul Simon is a musical genius.

I am here seeking knowledge

...things they would not teach me of in college...

Name that tune!

Wrapped Around Your Finger

You consider me the young apprentice
Caught between the Scylla and Charibdes.
Hypnotized by you if I should linger
Staring at the ring around your finger.
I have only come here seeking knowledge,
Things they would not teach me of in college.
I can see the destiny you sold
turned into a shining band of gold.

I'll be wrapped around your finger.
I'll be wrapped around your finger.

Mephistopheles is not your name,
But I know what you're up to just the same.
I will listen hard to your tuition,
And you will see it come to it's fruition.

I'll be wrapped around your finger.
I'll be wrapped around your finger.

Devil and the deep blue sea behind me
Vanish in the air you'll never find me.
I will turn your face to alabaster,
Then you'll find your servant is your master,

And you'll be wrapped around my finger.
I'll be wrapped around your finger.
You'll be wrapped around my finger.
I'll be wrapped around your finger.....

We should have a gathering at corvettes at Carlisle.
How about the Long Beach Gran Prix instead?

Wrapped around your finger. Cool song. Not my favorite of theirs. I love Synchronicity II and Invisible Sun.

This place has a lot in common with my new job. You can be yourself, have a good time and enjoy the fellowship in the meantime. This is not difficult.......

That is what I started to feel about CF... the comfort level had gone to shit and the prevailing attitude was just poor.

It made me feel like I was walking on eggshells... or tap dancing in a mine field.
