I truly feel your pain right now. I am so jacked up its not even funny...well maybe it is. I went to the DR and they only gave me sutifed and muscenix which dont help much at all. Why do they always want to give you the weak crap when they can clearly see you need stronger stuff? Plus I told him I was already on sutifed

I slept well. I am still achy, tho... the weirdest part? My skin hurts!!! just about any part of me is sensative to the touch. Wacky.

My abs are tight, from all the coughing.

Generally icky feeling... but I do feel better. I think another day of lazy rest and I will be back to 100%.

I'm from Cincinnati but I've been going down to Lake Cumberland (Somerset area) for 20 years. LOTS of local hot rodders down there with some very fast cars and the best lake in the country.

I saw that I had to pan to the right just a hair to see the last 3 letters of my post on the right. Now I don't. Did a moderator edit them a little? If so let me know so next time I can downsize them a hair farther. If not then I'll keep using that size when I post pics.

Nice car, nice setting so hell, just screw an EGR question anyway....

I should explain something here. When I first saw this post this morning, there was no text in his post. The picture in his avatar was emblazoned full size as the only content in his post. Then when I originally posted, my post showed no text either! When I checked in this evening though, it was as it now appears. That is that both his post and mine now show text content. I wasn't being a smart-ass and ignoring his concern. I just wondered why he had posted an EGR question in his subject line but nothing appeared in the post except a nice picture of his car. A pretty strange glitch. I don't recall ever seeing anything like that happen in a forum before.

Same with my interesting thread.

While I am still a die-hard NASCAR fan, it has gotten so far away from what it used to be. I know its all in the eye of "safety" and fairness, but to me it was the best when a manufacturer brought out a new car or a new motor and they raced it on Sunday. It was true stock competition, and not a competition between engine builders.

That's why I quit watching. Even in the early 90's they were at least putting bodys on that resembled the street cars like the Lumina. Now it's just a slightly different nose and decals. It was much better in the 80's.
A lot of the fans now don't care weither its Chevy or Ford or Dodge, they just want to see their TV stars.

I did this about a month ago. The used one I bought from a forum member is working great. The job wasn't really that hard @ all. I just printed out the directions I found on this forum or forum X ( I forget which one ) and I used a Chilton's and factory service Manuel. I think it took a couple of hours, that's with me doing it, I'm slow and not anywheres near a mechanic. I did have to grab my 13 y/o son and his small hands to help me run some of the wires. if you have any questions just let me know ( as I just did it ).

Good-luck ,

Patsfan

Yeah I'm sure the souvenir vendors love every minute of it. I can't believe the money they ask and that people pay for some of that crap. I've got a few die-casts, not Nascar but just some Corvettes and other stuff. Most of them are in a closet. Worthless, I ought to sell the whole lot of them.

What are folks replacing the ZF6s with?

TKO 500 or 600, you still use the push type clutch parts and a standard type bellhousing.

They are rated at 500Ft/lbs-TQ and 600Ft/lbs

Well, it finally happened. My antenna would go up only half way and that was ok as reception was ok at half way up, but then it started going up 1/4 way and now it doesn't go up at all.

I probably need to replace it. Dread the job though. Has anyone done this? I don't see how to get to the thing.

Billy

Reminds me of a cartoon I saw a long time ago. A little boy and girl are playing.

Boy: I've got a marble.
Girl: I've got TWO marbles!

Boy: I've got a nickel.
Girl: I've got a QUARTER!

Boy: (pull down pants) I've got one of these!
Girl: (pulls up skirt) I've got one of THESE, and with just ONE of these, I can have as many of THOSE as I want!

Hahahahaha..thats funny

Now I have to use the leader board. You'll notice the announcers pretty much talk about the top 10 or they're plugging somebody. Not counting the wrecks of course.

Eclipse and Nak are some of the more plain looking head units.

The ones I like though are the older Alpine head units from the 96-00 years. They are solid built units from Japan, not the crappy stuff they sell now.

I remember you telling me about that. If you ran Cobras, then you were into clay oval racing. I have a Custom Works.

A friend of mine still drives professionally for Custom Works. Tony Stewart bought CW a few years ago.

At some road course tracks, Sebring for example, are SO bumpy that a conventionally tight setup will result in broken cars.

I'm gonna install an Eclipse AVN2210P:

It's a little fugly, but the interface is fairly simple, and the detachable GPS appealed to me, since I store my car for half the year (with a car kit you can use it in another vehicle). I got it for $399 over the holidays, figured I couldn't go too wrong.
