No -- its all there except the fancy plastic box.
Yes you got a steal, as they are almost $300

You can find Kent-Moore's web site and look for yourself.

I have talked to them over the phone before and they are great people to deal with. I had to replace the thrust bearing when I got a little over zealous tring to make sure my hub was fully seated.

Good buy - but the fancy plastic box it comes in is not there.

It's a GM donation. I'm from the Detroit area originally. Every year GM stickers up a bunch of fancy cars for the Woodward Dream Cruise. I think that one they donated for good, though.

It's either a Z or FRC, but you could (I've seen it done) attach it to the external section of the HALO behind the roof on a Targa.

A waste? Maybe, but it was likely either seized or donated by a dealership for advertising.

Steinbrenner has NY Yankees plastered all over a couple of our marked units here in FLORI-DUH.....go figure?

Bogus, there wont be a MAF, its a 92.

The leak must be tended to IMEADIATELY, cause that is extremely dangerous. Call MAXX WRENCH and order a new set of injector o-rings at the very least.

Pull the fuel rail off the manifold, turn it upside down and have a look at the injectors while the rail is pressurised, turn the key on to do that, the injectors shouldnt leak, and they certainly shouldnt leak around the o-rings where they go into the rails.

The fact its rich on the right bank could be related to this leak, due to the fact the pressure at the injectors may possibly be higher on the right hand side with that leak on the left.

The fact youre getting both 33 and 34 is rather unusual, they both mean the opposite of each other. For that reason, id contemplate taking that MAP sensor out, and trying another one. If you need a new one, call MAXX WRENCH (link to his website is in my sig below) and tell him what you need.

Before you just the gun and replace the MAP though, and this is IF you can get another one the same to test, do that, cause there is a chance it could be in the wiring and not the MAP itself.

Check all the connections to the back of the ECM, remove the battery terminals and clean them (remove neg first, and put it back on last) check the ground points, check all the wiring to be sure nothing is shorting to ground where its not meant to, especially down the right hand side of the engine where the right bank O2 circuit runs, cause if that shorts partially to ground youll probably get the rich DTC.

A badly fouled O2 sensor can also give the rich DTC, but before you go and replace anything like that, pull both O2s out, put the one you removed from the left into the right bank, and the one from the right into the left bank. If the DTC then shows up on the left bank instead of the right bank, the sensor is rooted and should be replaced, if the DTC remains on the same bank and swapping the O2s makes no difference, then the sensors are probably fine another issue exsists.

Some of that might sound like a waste of time, but try it ALL, cause you never know, and by the look of it any of the above could be a possibility.

I added this GREAT LT1 PCM tuning link to the tuning FAQ:

Perhaps someone could ask the owner of the information if we can archive it here, should the link disappear?

Johnny, all you need to understand there is the word "FANTASTASHINE" which probably means "This car is f***en exceptional".

And the part where the other guy says "Kompressor motor" and when you put the boot in "BOOM" which is about how it bloody good it would be too.

I don't care, really. The E85 has no negative effect on performance, just MPGs.

I am all for greener... and at the rate things are going, small production specialty cars are not going to be a major factor. As it stands, the majority of effort will be on mass production vehicles first.

Also, I see more advances for ethanol in autoracing. To such an extent that NASCAR is going to finally have to switch over to EFI.

Yep, thats pretty normal for a car that mainly only has a driver and no passenger, what you can do is pull the rear spring out and turn it around, that will make it better.

What rear gear ratio do you have? For autos, the first things I usually recommend are a torque converter and rear gear change if necessary. Some of these auto cars came from the factory with 2.59 rear gears. Putting a cam in a car with that rear end is a sure fire way to be very disappointed. However making those two changes can be a great way to utilize ever bit of power you are making now and in the future more to your advantage.

You also have the advantage of using a torque converter. You could easily go with a 2800 stall and that would really wake the car up but you have to have at least a 3.07 rear gear preferably something in the 3.2x to 3.5x range. Drivability loss is minimal.

To answer your question though, I won't use a Crane cam unless the customer specifically asks for it. I'm not a fan of their cams at all. Their Gold wide body rockers are good though. Comp has some nice cams, but one that I really love in LT1 cars that just makes the car very fun to drive is the LPE 211 cam. It's small but great for someone worried about shaking and daily driving. I have a customer with that cam in his 95 Z07 car with 3.73 gears. No stall converter either. The car is just a blast to drive. He knows I love driving it too. If he put a 2800 stall in the car it would be even more fun.

Hi Guys I wonder if anyone has a solution to my problem.
Yesterday I lowered the tail end of my 90 Vert. The car always sat a bit lower on the drivers side, after lowering it I still have the same problem it sits 3/8" lower on the Driver side.
How do I correct this problem?
Thanks for any help.

Hi guys, I've been pretty busy lately. A week ago I got my 4 post lift delivered and yesterday I got the "high lift" added to my garage door. Today my son-in-law and I added some additional lights and electrical plugs. Next on the agenda is to build some cabinets to replace the the old shelves that we had when we moved in 22 years ago to clean up the area in front of the lift. I'm also going to look at having some aluminum ramps built as the steel ones that came with the lift are heavy and a PITA to move around. I've also got to have some brackets made to hang the wheels for moving the lift around. Still lots to do, but I'm making headway.

Here's the garage after getting the lift installed, but the garage door hasn't been "high lifted" yet.

Now I've got the door fixed here is what it looks like. My son-in-law standing under the vette, lift all the way up.

Here's a shot of all three of my vehicles in the garage.

That area up in front is where I'll be building my cabinets.

Chris,

Are you going to eat the chicken?

You could always send it here, I'm sure I could get a some boatguys and frogs to partake in that science experiment with me. Shoot if the timing is right, I have a couple of Army SF buddies coming down soon and I'll may be able to get them to indulge in a tasty canned feast.

LOL

happy easter

hi case and bogus,
thanks for the replies.
i took a look in the fsm and found two pages that list all the colors and 4 plugs with the wires and what they mean and do.
i tell ya though it is going to be quite a darn task to do this job.
there a 5 flying wires, red/battery, earth wire/black, 2 orage wires/fuel pump,1 grey wire for ignition switched 12 v,1 green wire/auxilery wire,
i have installed ecu box under glove compartment and fitted large rubber grommet thru fire wall with wire loom going thru it,
then there is the rest of the wires,
trigger/2 wires and grey cord of wires/4 wires,
coolent/2 wires,rd speedo /3 wires,air/2 wires,o2/3 wires,injectors/5 wires,idle/4 wires,t.p.s /3 wires,ignitioon wires/6 wires,m.a.p /3 wires and p.w.m /5 wires.
i will give you a example of what im confused about,
connector d plug lists injectors 2 4 6 8 driver- dark green,injector ground- black/white wire, then injectors 1 3 5 7 driver dark blue,injector ground black/white,
ok so there are 4 wires found on plug, but the clors on the haltech dont match the wires on the plug colors, then there still is a spare wire to connect with, wtf!!
this elecetronic stuff beats me.
i was hoping not to hav eto pay some one $ 800.00 to have towire this darn thing!!
oh well.
any way " HAPPY EASTER TO ALL " GUYS
cheers
glen
