Warm weather is upon us again. Time to go cruizin. 87 vert., 172000+ miles and plan to put more. Just got back from the smokies. Did the "Tail of the Dragon" and "Blue Ridge Parkway", with her top down; beautiful! Would anyone like to share the milage on your ride?

I still have it. I have someone interested in it...again. We will see how that pans out. I still have some mixed feelings about it but I know it would be best for me and the family to sell it right now and maybe a few years down the road I can own one again.

Yeah there is someone interested but they are waiting on a insurance check. I am giving them until the end of the week and then moving on. Hopefully this guy will pan out.

About to turn 82k on my Ruby. Runs like a champ! Hopefully this will not jinx me. Sadly, I think I only put 1 or 2k of those miles on it. I simply do not get the chance to drive it much. I am not trying to baby or preserve this car, honest!

It's tough to put miles on it, between having a company vehicle with free gas, and two/three kids or musical instruments to haul around any other time.

I prolly shoulda bought a GTO (Holden) or something... I sure would hate to get rid of this car, as I waited so long to get it. But if I don't start driving it soon, I may have to rethink things.

Anybody want to buy me one of the following?:

Pontiac G8
Dodge Challenger
New Camaro (when is this going to be on the road? It's practically out-dated, I've seen photos of it around for so long!)

It sounds like you don't do enough/any "recreational" driving, you know, where you take off somewhere and don't even know where you're going or when you'll be back.

Do you have to drag your kids with you everywhere you go?

Can't you siphon gas from the company car and put in the vette? Or do they give you a gas card?

Gas card. They track mileage. I remember when I used to do recreational driving... It was the 80's. In my MR2. I had the car for about two years. Put 60k miles on it. That was fun. I just don't have time for it anymore. I used to shoot guns and ride motorcycles too.... Where does my time go?

about 224k on mine at the moment... did a quick run to Ohio 3 weeks ago to see my mom and my brother and it ran like a champ.... even let my daughter drive about 20 minutes on the interstate in Ohio.... straight lanes and you can see for miles (she is only 15 and has her learners permit....)
