I don't visit here often and this is my first post, but that may change.
Over on another Corvette site I inquired about the Lexan top seperating from the frame on my C4...got ZERO responses. Josephf31 inquired here and got multiple responses. I also inquired about my tach reading 5K at idle...again nothing. mojo92 asked and again got multiple answers. That tells me the users here are a heck of a nicer group to associate with, I'm an older guy that has had a desire for a Corvette since 1953, finally bought a C4 May 2008. Hope you guys/gals don't mind if I stick around. 73 Ed |

This place is the best. If you get in a jam, these guys will go above and beyond to help you out. One time Bogus offered to mail me a scanner to try to help fix my car. I'm an older guy too. You found the right place. |

What "other" Forum? I belong to the three most popular (This one included, HA!) I usually will reply if I know something about the question. I also will answer when I know absolutely nothing about the subject matter. (Check out the "What are these things" thread, or the "Where's my fuse panel" for an example of both) Mike, the 'yet to be banned' guy. |

Many of the knowledgable C4 guys at one of those "other" forums were banned over the past 18 months, so you'll find the responses there to be mainly from new guys. That's fine if you only need basic help, but for most everything else, you end up having to reinvent the wheel, search the archives, or go elsewhere.
Personally I think it's ridiculous to be struggling with something on the car when there's someone else out there that knows the answer. There's really nothing on these cars that hasn't been tackled at some point, and if you can locate that person, you'll save time, money, and some blood sweat and tears. |

Welcome. Like Brian I frequest both sites, plus another one or two. Being an old(er) retired guy it fills in the time on the rainy days.
